Milwaukee's Timmerman Airport hosts the 14th Annual Spot Landing Contest, a precision challenge where pilots aim to touch down as close as possible to a marked line on the runway. Free Harley-Davidson motorcycle demo rides are offered on the Harley-Davidson Museum campus, featuring Model Year 2026 bikes across Touring, Cruiser, Adventure Touring, and Sportster categories. Riders with a valid motorcycle endorsement can choose from a wide selection and follow a planned scenic route through the Menomonee Valley that highlights the surrounding neighborhoods. Sign-up is first come, first served, and rides are weather dependent. Riders and passengers must be 18 or older, and all participants must bring and wear full protective gear, including a helmet, eye protection, a shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes with a heel strap. The lineup includes options such as the CVO Road Glide ST, Street Glide Limited and Street Glide with Rockford Fosgate audio upgrades, plus Road Glide, Low Rider ST and Low Rider S, Breakout, Street Bob, Heritage Classic 114, Fat Boy, Pan America Special, Sportster S, and Nightster S. The experience is supported by H-D Insurance, Rockford Fosgate Motorcycle Audio, and Michelin Motorcycle Tires, with opportunities to compare audio systems and enter for a chance to win a set of tires. Deer District hosts a vibrant farmers market managed by Lauryn Wynter Company with support from Deer District BID 53. Each week, more than a hundred vendors gather with farm produce, organic meats and eggs, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery goods, handmade arts and crafts, and a wide range of ready-to-enjoy foods. Live music and ample seating create a relaxed place to snack, shop, and take a break. The Taste It Tent serves up samples of new offerings, and a dedicated area gives kids games and activities to enjoy. Nearby Deer District businesses are open for brunch or lunch to complement a day at the market. SNAP/EBT, WIC, and Senior Nutritional Vouchers are accepted.

Grace Lutheran Church will participate in Doors Open Milwaukee 2026, welcoming visitors and offering a friendly introduction to the space with help from volunteer greeters. The team is seeking approachable volunteers to say hello and point guests in the right direction, and no prior historical knowledge is required.
