The floating Burger Barge on Monona Bay serves up a water-based dining experience with grilled favorites prepared by the Brittingham Boats crew and live music performed from a stage on the water. Choose a full meal or sandwich only, pick a regular or veggie patty, customize your toppings, and opt for gluten free buns if needed. Food is available to boaters only, so guests rent a boat or register their own and paddle out to place an order. Kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes are welcome, and early rentals are recommended to ensure time on the water amid lake views and music.

Brought to you by Garver Events, this free summer Friday concert invites you to relax on the Garver Patio with live music from local band The Reverberists. Alongside food and drinks from Garver’s tenants, a mix of food trucks will be serving on the patio, with offerings from Cafe Costa Rica, Mega Eggrolls, Kind Thailand, SOHO, and Jolly Frog. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. A full bar is on site, and outside food or beverages are not permitted. New this year, the Garver Lounge is offering a fish fry. If the weather does not cooperate, the performance shifts indoors to the Garver Lounge.

Atwood Music Hall hosts John Doe and Exene Cervenka, founding members of the punk band X. Their partnership took root in 1976 at Beyond Baroque during a long running Wednesday night poetry workshop, and their band went on to help lead Hollywood punk.

Train brings its Drops of Jupiter: 25 Years in the Atmosphere concert to Breese Stevens Field for a rain or shine performance. For every ticket sold, $1 supports Family House San Francisco, which provides free lodging and essential assistance for families of seriously ill young patients. The venue operates cashless, and only small clutches, purses, fanny packs, or clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags up to 12"x12"x6" are permitted. Tickets are available in advance online or at The Sylvee box office, and if any remain on the day of the show they can be purchased at the venue. Thompson Investment Management Lounge tickets include a private lounge, access to the Gold Circle, food, three complimentary cocktails, and unlimited beer, wine, soda, and water. Venue rules include no blankets, umbrellas, or chairs, no outside food, and no re-entry. Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the stadium, with a designated smoking corral located outside Gate 3. Ticket options include various presales, VIP packages, and a public onsale.

Enjoy an evening of live music on the Kind Stage at the Sun Prairie Public Library. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Krause Family Band is the featured act with a one hour set. At the heart of the group are Katie, Ruthie, and their father Rick, who sing together and move among a variety of instruments. Paul Otteson and Gwendolyn Mae start the show with a 30 minute performance. Otteson, a Wisconsin songwriter, shares literature influenced, carefully crafted songs in an intimate chamber folk approach. Bank of Sun Prairie presents this installment of the Concerts in the Park series at Wetmore Park, featuring a performance by The No Name String Band. Their sound blends old-time fiddle roots with jazz and funk improvisation, Latin rhythms, and a touch of classical discipline for a fresh twist. Family-friendly fun is part of the program with a special appearance from Boo Mullarky for kids. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with food trucks including Travelin Toms Coffee, Sabor Queretano, Kona Ice, Thailand in a Truck, and Little Sister Cookies. Attendees can bring a lawn chair and enjoy live music, games, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Madison Song Circle hosts a weekly singalong at Muso Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. Participants sing from the Rise Up Singing and Rise Again songbooks, drawing from a collection of 2,400 folk and traditional songs spanning the past 100 years. Acoustic musicians of all skill levels are welcome to bring guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, accordions and similar instruments, and play as much or as little as they like. A stand up bass along with some guitars and ukuleles are available on site for participants. The songbooks include chords to support playing along, but they do not provide melody lines.

There will be complimentary live music on The Rock Garden patio. The space features a full service outdoor bar, five outdoor TVs, a large firepit, and bag boards for casual play. A full food menu is available, with service hours that differ on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Awildan hosts a traditional Irish session each Wednesday, a relaxed jam focused on instrumental Celtic dance tunes reminiscent of music circles in Ireland. This is not a formal band, but a community gathering that usually brings together about a dozen to fifteen local musicians. Listeners are welcome to enjoy the music, and supportive applause is appreciated by the players. Admission is free and all ages are welcome, with anyone under 21 required to attend with a parent or legal guardian.

The Summer Series brings live, family-friendly entertainment to Fireman’s Park in DeForest alongside the Night Market. The 608, a three piece acoustic group, performs a fresh blend of country and pop that differs from their Madison County shows, creating an easygoing soundtrack for a relaxed night at the park. Shop local vendors for unique and handmade goods while taking in the music. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from vendors including Any Street Grill, Café Costa Rica, Sabor Queretano, Toast, Curt’s Gourmet, Ribmasters WI, Culinary Nivana, DonutNV, Frios Gourmet Pops, and Curd Girl.
