Concert on the Square
Presented by Wausau Events as part of the Concerts on the Square series, this gathering features live music alongside a rotating selection of food vendors. Enjoy the performance while grabbing something to eat from the onsite offerings. For the comfort and safety of all attendees, please avoid bringing large tables or other furniture, and note that smoking and pets are not permitted.
The 400 BlockConcert on the Square Hang
Enjoy a summer Concert on the Square at the Wausau 400 Block featuring Todd Ashbeck’s Rising Star, a Central Wisconsin rock band known for classic rock and danceable favorites from the 70s and 80s that are easy to sing along to. Bring a chair along with your own snacks and drinks. If you want to extend the night after the show, Faraway Place will have another band performing nearby.
Wausau 400 BlockWednesday, July 22 - White Claw Wednesday!
The Wausau Woodchucks take on the Duluth Huskies at Athletic Park. It is White Claw Wednesday, with White Claw specials available throughout the ballpark. A limited number of tickets are available. Children age 2 and under do not need their own ticket unless they require their own seat. Indicating interest on Facebook does not secure entry, as tickets must be purchased. For ticket purchases or questions, call 715.845.5055.
Athletic ParkMoonbadger
Summer Wednesdays feature a jam-band residency with Moonbadger, a Wausau group delivering deep rhythms, precise musicianship, and a high-energy live show. Formed by four seasoned players from other regional acts, the band blends classic funk with modern soul. Billy Bronsted leads on vocals and guitar, Jordan Miles supplies standout keyboard work, Zach Soczka anchors the bass, and Eric Juvonen drives the beat on drums.
