Show of Hands brings the community together to crowdfund local ideas in Wheeling. Attendees contribute $5 to receive a vote, listen to presentations from four selected entrepreneurs, then choose the project they want to help fund. The top vote-getter receives at least $3,000 along with door donations to move their idea forward. Entrepreneurs seeking to start or grow a business in Wheeling can apply for the opportunity to present and build support. The gathering takes place on the third floor of the Wheeling Artisan Center.

Wheeling Park hosts the return of the Ohio Valley Heart Walk, a community celebration that honors local survivors and supports the American Heart Association. This open Overeaters Anonymous meeting welcomes anyone interested in the program, including students, support people, and healthcare professionals. It takes place at the Ohio County Public Library in the Board Room located in the basement. The meeting room and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Visitors are expected to respect the anonymity of participants, and information on visitor etiquette is available. Meetings do not occur when the library is closed.

Lunchtime brings live music to Centre Market as part of the Saturdays at the Market series.
