The Port City Blues Players serve as the house band while a rotating mix of guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, vocalists, and others add their sound throughout each session. RJ’s is a casual, family-friendly, smoke-free venue with food and bar service, and it is widely recognized across the Delta for showcasing this jam and additional blues shows. Port City Blues Society is a member-supported nonprofit founded in 2015 that preserves Delta blues heritage in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, and the State of Arkansas, supports live performance through concerts, jams, and festivals, and engages the broader community through education and charitable efforts.
