Vino's in Little Rock hosts a live music event featuring performances by The Callous Daoboys, Kaonashi, Girl Of Glass, and Wielded Steel. The event is open to attendees of any age.

A weekly blues jam presented by the Port City Blues Society takes place in historic downtown Pine Bluff at RJ’s Sports Grill & Bar, standing among the region’s longest running gatherings of its kind. Created to honor and sustain the Delta blues heritage tied to Pine Bluff and Jefferson County, it is free, open to the public, and built around participation. Musicians from near or far can sign up to play, with the Port City Blues Players anchoring the stage as the house band while a rotating mix of guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, vocalists, and others join in. The atmosphere stays relaxed and welcoming. RJ’s provides a casual, family friendly, smoke free setting with food and bar service, and it has become known throughout the Delta for these weekly sessions as well as monthly blues concerts. The Port City Blues Society is a member supported nonprofit established in 2015 that promotes and advances blues as an American art form, preserves Delta blues traditions in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, and Arkansas, supports live performances through concerts, jams, and festivals, and engages the community through events and charitable initiatives.

Low Gap takes the stage at Stickyz with their five-piece band for a spirited set that highlights thoughtful songwriting and dynamic performance. Brothers Gus and Phin Johnson weave 90s alt-country and Americana with a modern country sensibility, drawing on roots in Ohio and eastern Kentucky. After a year and a half of heavy touring and a run of singles, the duo has released its debut album, Geneva, earning attention from both mainstream listeners and critics across the country landscape. Special guests will be announced. All ages are admitted. General admission is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the show.

George Brant’s play brings Sister Rosetta Tharpe into focus, charting a key moment in her career while highlighting her far-reaching impact on gospel, rock and roll, and popular music. Blending music with dramatic storytelling, it offers an intimate and uplifting portrait grounded in themes of rediscovery, respect, and recognition for artists who helped shape American culture. The performance runs about 90 minutes and is recommended for ages 13 and up. Tickets are $20, with a $15 rate for members. Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc., with support from Cardinal Counseling, Virgil L. Miller, Jr., the Rebsamen Fund, and Dr. Odell Nickelberry. Support for Children’s Theatre and Performing Arts programs comes in part from The Shubert Foundation and The McMath Family.
