First Friday is a free community block party with music, vendors, and activities for families. The 2026 season is presented by Walmart and features a season-wide theme, First Friday Live, which highlights live performances, entertainment, and interactive experiences. Community partners City of Bentonville, Visit Bentonville, and Walton Family Foundation provide support for this celebration.

Set on the Bentonville Square, this long-standing farmers market highlights the best from local growers and makers, including seasonal produce, fruits, vegetables, and other goods. Explore Vera’s Victorian Garden with a free, one-hour public tour presented by the Benton County Master Gardeners. Offered monthly from June through October, this rain-or-shine program highlights seasonal blooms in the museum’s Ozark heritage garden, with a different focus each month. Knowledgeable guides share insights into the plants and flowers while tracing the story of the garden on the south lawn of the museum’s Hawkins House in historic downtown Rogers. Established in 1989 to honor Vera Key, the museum’s co-founder and first Museum Commission chair, the garden was transformed in 2022 through a collaboration with the Benton County Master Gardeners and the City of Rogers Parks Department into an Ozark Victorian flower garden that complements the 1895 historic house. Renamed Vera’s Victorian Garden in 2024, it received the 2024 Arkansas Master Gardener Project of the Year Award. No reservations are required.

At Crystal Bridges, Second Saturday: Book It! celebrates the connection between literature and art. The Library and Archives staff will be in the Commons with selections from the archives and rare volumes to explore, and Two Friends Books will lead a book-centered gallery conversation that links works in the collection with titles from their bookstore. This program is free with no tickets needed, and visitors can drop in at any time during the day. Additional Second Saturday offerings are available.

Lionlamb Music Festival brings the Christian community together through worship and the arts, promoting unity and honoring the name of Jesus through faith-centered performances and creative expression. Admission is free.

The Bella Vista Farmers & Makers Market offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an easy way to support local businesses while enjoying time outdoors, whether you are from Bella Vista, visiting Bentonville, or exploring the region.

A free community afternoon for families and neighbors features access to indoor pools and an ice rink. Activities rotate between complimentary swimming or ice skating, and sometimes both. Admission and activities are free for everyone. Offerings are subject to change.

Explore in-season produce and other staples, meet the folks behind the booths, and restock favorites. Set along the A Street Promenade, it is a refreshing break in the middle of the week and a simple way to enjoy Downtown Bentonville around lunchtime. Saturday markets continue as well.

Head to the RØDE House for a free live music night as part of The Momentary’s On the House series. This week features Gavin Sumrall and the Band. The event is open to all ages, with alcohol limited to guests 21+. A Momentary Food Truck will be on site serving meals and snacks.

Families will also find Neighborhood Kids, a dedicated area where children can play and select items from kid-sized shelves while parents or guardians do their shopping. This community effort is supported by Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, Central UMC, First UMC, and Bland Chapel Methodist of Rogers, Arkansas, along with the many volunteers who make it possible.

The Bentonville Community Blood Drive offers a simple way to support patients close to home. In partnership with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, this annual effort brings neighbors, employees, and community partners together for a shared act of care that helps local hospitals. With two convenient sites, Fire Station #1 Training Room and the Northwest Medical Center Bentonville classrooms, and donation hours that run from late morning into the evening, it is set up to fit busy schedules whether someone is giving for the first time or is a repeat donor. One donation can aid multiple patients across the region. Participants can choose a time that works for them and may invite a colleague, friend, or family member to donate as well, since small efforts done together make a meaningful difference.

Settle in on the Bentonville Square with blankets and lawn chairs for a free, family-friendly outdoor screening of The Lorax. Complimentary refreshments will be available thanks to event sponsors. This screening is part of Movie Nights on the Square, with a 2026 lineup that also includes Zootopia 2, National Treasure, Ratatouille, and Back to the Future. Blessings To Go offers a drive-through food ministry in the Grace Chapel UMC parking lot, providing a complimentary box of groceries to anyone in need. There is no screening or paperwork required, simply pull through by car and pick up a box.

At Bentonville Square, this community-led tradition gathers local musicians and anyone with an acoustic instrument to make music, listen, and connect. Bring an instrument if you want to play, or bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music. It is free to attend and open to all ages and skill levels. The gathering is supported by Downtown Bentonville Incorporated.

Enjoy a family-friendly evening of live hip hop and R&B as Courtyard Sessions: Hip Hop 101 returns at The Momentary’s Arvest Bank Courtyard. The lineup includes DJ D. Sewell, SpidaCrazy8, and Ace Mac performing on the drums, along with crowd-favorite sounds, free merch giveaways, and a special DJ set. Food and snacks will be available from The Momentary Food Truck, and the event is weather permitting. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
