To honor the United States’ 250th anniversary, the City of Rogers presents a history themed scavenger hunt that sends participants to multiple notable spots. Players visit the locations in pursuit of prizes, and there will be a drawing for a $250 grand prize. Begin on the event website to get started.

A swim meetup at Springdale Aquatic Park brings homeschoolers together to enjoy the water and connect with one another. A pavilion area is reserved as a central place to meet fellow attendees. Admission is $5 at the door.

Arvest Ballpark, home of the NW Arkansas Naturals, hosts an evening of baseball capped by a fireworks show after the game. Ticket purchases made through Dustin's Dream support its ongoing work, with up to half of the proceeds benefiting the Dustin Chamberlain Memorial Foundation. Only tickets bought through Dustin's Dream count toward this benefit. Before the game, pick up tickets at the Dustin's Dream will-call table located outside the Arvest gate.

When school is out, Crystal Bridges hosts a spring break cooking camp that brings together food and art. Kids will do hands-on cooking sessions led by Lunch Bunch, using inspiration from the museum’s collection and special exhibitions. Each day includes a tasty dish along with an art connection, and campers can expect to learn basic cooking skills, explore cultural connections, and make new friends. No prior experience is needed.

Storytime with Bookseller Halli takes place beneath the large tree opposite Rail & Iron Horse at the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market. Lively read-alouds feature favorite children's titles, and attendees can support local farmers and market vendors during their visit. This activity is weather dependent. Meet adorable, fully vetted rescue puppies from Pit Ridge Rescue at a puppy adoption event at Petco in Rogers. Spend time playing with the pups and get individual introductions, while the rescue team answers questions about how adoption works, puppy care, and choosing a match for your home. Whether you are ready to adopt or simply want to learn more about rescue dogs, it is a friendly opportunity to connect with animals who need loving families.

Funday Sunday at the Jones Center is a no-cost community outing for families and neighbors. The series usually takes place on the second Sunday of the month and rotates between free ice skating and swimming, sometimes both. This installment features free swimming in the indoor pools. Bring a love of cooking and creativity to this hands-on summer camp for kids ages 8 to 10. Each day focuses on making a delicious dish while also connecting it to art from the museum’s collection. Led by Lunch Bunch, campers will explore flavors and techniques with a fun, art-inspired twist.

Come to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks for Terrific Tuesday Nights, a series of educational, themed evenings for all ages. Enjoy the beauty of the garden during warm summer nights, and admission is free thanks to community support.

Grace Chapel opens its sanctuary as a community pantry where anyone is welcome to choose free groceries from stocked shelves. A small amount of paperwork is required, and caring volunteers are available to assist throughout the visit. Families will also find Neighborhood Kids, a dedicated area where children can play and select items from child-sized shelves while parents or guardians shop. Appreciation goes to the volunteers and to Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, Central UMC, First UMC, and Bland Chapel Methodist of Rogers, AR for helping make this ministry possible.
