Enjoy a guided look at Vera’s Victorian Garden with the Rogers Historical Museum and the Benton County Master Gardeners. This complimentary, hour-long public tour explores the museum’s Ozark heritage plantings as Master Gardeners share insights into flowers and foliage. Each month introduces a fresh theme that features seasonal blooms. The garden is on the south lawn of the museum’s Hawkins House in historic downtown Rogers. Created in memory of museum co-founder Vera Key, the space was later reimagined in collaboration with the Benton County Master Gardeners and the City of Rogers Parks Department as an outdoor educational extension of the Hawkins House, reflecting the Victorian character of the historic home. Plant choices echo what residents in Rogers might have grown around the turn of the twentieth century. Now known as Vera’s Victorian Garden, it has been honored as the Arkansas Master Gardener Project of the Year. The tour proceeds in any weather and does not require advance sign up.

Storytime with Bookseller Halli takes place beneath the large tree opposite Rail & Iron Horse at the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market. Lively read-alouds feature favorite children's titles, and attendees can support local farmers and market vendors during their visit. This activity is weather dependent. Check socials for any cancellations.

This free event provides paints, miniatures, and space to create. You are also welcome to bring your own paints and minis if you prefer. Enjoy a relaxed painting session with friends and family, or spend some time painting on your own.

Funday Sunday at the Jones Center is a no-cost community outing for families and neighbors. The series usually takes place on the second Sunday of the month and rotates between free ice skating and swimming, sometimes both. This installment features free swimming in the indoor pools. Plans are subject to change.

Grace Chapel hosts a drive-thru where anyone can pick up a free, hot meal to take home, with no questions asked. Individuals and families are welcome. Local churches and families prepare the food, taking turns so that each group serves one Sunday a month. This community effort is supported by the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas and the participating congregations. The drive-thru takes place every Sunday.

A free paint-and-take session with paints, miniatures, and workspace provided. You can also bring your own paints and minis if you prefer. Settle into a relaxed, creative atmosphere to paint solo or share the experience with friends and family.

Come to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks for Terrific Tuesday Nights, a series of educational, themed evenings for all ages. Enjoy the beauty of the garden during warm summer nights, and admission is free thanks to community support.

Enjoy free live music in the RØDE House as part of The Momentary’s On the House series. This Wednesday night features Gavin Sumrall and the Band. The Momentary Food Truck will be on site with meals and snacks. The event is open to all ages, with a 21+ requirement for purchasing or consuming alcohol.

Made possible by First United Methodist Church in Springdale, this community class is offered at no cost. The format changes regularly, with possibilities like barre, willPower & grace, mat Pilates, strength, or stretch. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Grace Chapel opens its sanctuary as a community pantry where anyone is welcome to choose free groceries from stocked shelves. A small amount of paperwork is required, and caring volunteers are available to assist throughout the visit. Families will also find Neighborhood Kids, a dedicated area where children can play and select items from child-sized shelves while parents or guardians shop. Appreciation goes to the volunteers and to Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, Central UMC, First UMC, and Bland Chapel Methodist of Rogers, AR for helping make this ministry possible.

Blessings To Go offers a drive-thru grocery distribution in the parking lot of Grace Chapel UMC, where a complimentary box of food is provided with no intake questions.
