    Hawkins House Garden Tours

    Enjoy a guided look at Vera’s Victorian Garden with the Rogers Historical Museum and the Benton County Master Gardeners. This complimentary, hour-long public tour explores the museum’s Ozark heritage plantings as Master Gardeners share insights into flowers and foliage. Each month introduces a fresh theme that features seasonal blooms. The garden is on the south lawn of the museum’s Hawkins House in historic downtown Rogers. Created in memory of museum co-founder Vera Key, the space was later reimagined in collaboration with the Benton County Master Gardeners and the City of Rogers Parks Department as an outdoor educational extension of the Hawkins House, reflecting the Victorian character of the historic home. Plant choices echo what residents in Rogers might have grown around the turn of the twentieth century. Now known as Vera’s Victorian Garden, it has been honored as the Arkansas Master Gardener Project of the Year. The tour proceeds in any weather and does not require advance sign up.
