Celebrate Golden hearts, Golden dogs, and Golden community at the first Golden Rush Ambassador meet up in Tucson. Held at Udall Park, Ramada 5, this friendly gathering welcomes Golden Retriever owners and enthusiasts for connection and canine camaraderie. The morning unfolds with check in and introductions, a group photo to mark the occasion, a relaxed walk around the park, and time to hydrate, chat, and let the pups enjoy some social time together. Those who wish can continue with optional off leash play at the fenced dog park afterward. Please bring your Golden on a leash, water for both of you, paw protection if you use it, and a smile. All Goldens and all people are welcome. This meetup is part of the Golden Rush community network and is hosted independently by Tucson Golden Rush Ambassador Melissa Amundsen. It is not produced or managed by Golden Rush Productions LLC, and attendance is at your own risk. The Golden Rush name is a nationally registered trademark for dog events and its use requires official authorization.

Kids Night offers free meals for children with the purchase of an adult entree. Young guests can spin a prize wheel for treats and prizes, and face painter Brissa will be on site creating colorful designs.

Designed for preschoolers, this lively storytime at The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures features costumed performers who build each session around themes drawn from the museum’s miniature collection. Expect a playful blend of stories, songs, and imagination. An adult must stay with each child. The program is included with general admission and is free for museum members. No advance tickets are required, allowing families to plan a relaxed visit and explore the museum’s miniature galleries alongside the program. Offered on select Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Sibshop offers a welcoming program for brothers and sisters ages 7 to 12 who have a sibling with complex medical needs. It provides a supportive setting where kids can share what is on their minds, connect with peers who understand their family experience, and feel recognized for the important part they play at home. Sessions include playful, hands-on games and activities so participants can laugh, have fun, and build friendships while also having space to talk about both the positives and the tougher moments of having a sibling with special needs. This is a recurring monthly group, and first-time participants are asked to register.

Parent Aid offers a one-hour drumming workshop that uses rhythm to help parents and teens strengthen communication. Parents and their middle or high school students can explore new ways to connect, and no musical experience is required. This weekly drop-in program welcomes anyone curious about 3D printing with a hands-on introduction to designing a personal 3D model in Tinkercad. Led by Teen Volunteers and Teen Advisory Board members, participants explore creativity and technology in a supportive setting. The program is free, all materials are provided, and it is open to all skill levels, from first-timers to those simply interested in trying something new.

The Inclusive Family Bonanza is a private evening at Children’s Museum Tucson hosted by Care 4 the Caregivers for children with disabilities and their families. It offers an inclusive, sensory-considerate environment that celebrates play and community, featuring accessible activities, interactive entertainment, and built-in supports that help families participate comfortably and fully. Families at all stages are welcome, and the experience is designed to be easy, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Space is limited and registration is required.
