A free reception at the Tucson J celebrates Meditation & Metaphor: Ceramic Sculpture & Watercolors by Tracy Ann Holmes. The exhibition highlights how the artist reaches a calm, mindful focus through watercolor, finding a balance of control and chance as water, pigment, and paper interact. Inspired by the colors and life of the Sonoran Desert, her observations lead to questions that evolve into studies. Guided by meaningful quotes or elements of faith, she develops imagery that stands for ideas and emotions beyond what is seen. After sketching and gathering references, she translates these concepts into clay, creating sculptural works that extend her visual metaphors. The reception features light refreshments and offers a chance to meet the artist.

A free in-person healing circle offers a welcoming space for community connection and support with Mark Earlix, an internationally known spiritual healer, intuitive, master teacher, and bestselling author with more than four decades of experience. Designed for anyone seeking relief, clarity, peace, or a sense of connection, the session focuses on spiritual, not religious, practices and is open to people of all backgrounds and experience levels. Participants can expect a caring atmosphere that may include group energy work, guided healing experiences, time for questions and sharing, and opportunities for individual support. Presented in partnership with Our Safe Space, this gathering takes place at Ward 6 Council Offices. Admission is free, donations to the facilitator are welcome, and seating is limited to 40 participants.

This event features a relaxed, open-stage improv session where anyone can step into the spotlight, similar to an improv open mic. Admission to the show is free, and a Soapbox performance follows for $5. A COVID entrance and ticketing policy is in effect.
