At Fox Point Farms, golden hour turns into an easygoing evening of live music on the lawn with plenty of space to unwind. A rotating group of local musicians sets the mood as the sun dips behind the fields, with sounds that span 60s folk and southern rock, flamenco influences, and pop rock. Guests can settle onto the grass and may use their own chairs or blankets while taking in the views. Food and drink are available across the farm, including Huerta Taco Stand, Fox Point Pizza, Harvest Market Café bites, and the Haven Farm + Table restaurant. Harvest Market and the Farm Bar feature specials such as $10 margaritas and $5 rotating Fox Point Brewing Co. beer. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Family friendly fun includes giant Jenga and cornhole, and tractor-train rides offer a playful loop with stops to meet and feed some of the animals. Dogs are welcome on the lawn when kept close and on a leash, though they are not allowed in the farm or garden areas. All ages are welcome.

Drivin’ The Bus brings an improvisational jam band experience to The Surf Club Oceanside. Bill Magee, a San Diego blues mainstay and award-winning bandleader, has been recognized as the region’s top blues outfit by the San Diego Music Association and Reader Magazine. Early in his journey he played alongside a young Jimi Hendrix in Jimmy James and the Flames, and his path stretches from the Apollo Theater to shared bills with B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, and James Brown. His approach taps the grit and soul of the New York and Chicago traditions, delivering a sound that is electric and rooted in the genre’s foundations. After pausing the road to focus on family, he returned to the San Diego scene and has been energizing local stages ever since, pairing seasoned guitar work with a close connection to the crowd. The Anthony Cullins Trio adds a dynamic counterpoint. Cullins, a guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Fallbrook, blends R&B, funk, soul, rock, jazz, and blues into a swirling psych soul style, drawing inspiration from artists such as Eddie Hazel, Jeff Beck, George Benson, and Eric Johnson. He earned San Diego Music Awards honors as Best Blues Artist in 2023 and 2024, followed by Artist of the Year in 2025. He is at work on two studio albums and has expanded his touring to London, Norway, and throughout the United States.
