After pausing the road to focus on family, he returned to the San Diego scene and has been energizing local stages ever since, pairing seasoned guitar work with a close connection to the crowd. The Anthony Cullins Trio adds a dynamic counterpoint. Cullins, a guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Fallbrook, blends R&B, funk, soul, rock, jazz, and blues into a swirling psych soul style, drawing inspiration from artists such as Eddie Hazel, Jeff Beck, George Benson, and Eric Johnson. He earned San Diego Music Awards honors as Best Blues Artist in 2023 and 2024, followed by Artist of the Year in 2025. He is at work on two studio albums and has expanded his touring to London, Norway, and throughout the United States.
