This is a family friendly group bike ride that meets at Ketner Park. Riders gather at the park and then head out together for a shared ride.

The Park welcomes visitors with free daytime general admission, featuring house tours, blacksmithing demonstrations, and domestic artist demonstrations. Free admission applies only during the Park’s normal daytime hours and does not include entry to special events at Four Mile.

Teens age 14 and a half and older can prepare for a Colorado driver’s permit and license through a comprehensive classroom program. The course goes beyond the state’s 30 hour classroom requirement for the Instructional Driver’s Permit. It takes place over four days on Saturdays and Sundays. Package options are offered that combine classroom instruction with private behind the wheel lessons and driver testing. Programs start at $255.

Organizers say this will be the final year they put on the car show, and they intend to make it memorable with fresh additions. New elements are planned for this edition, with more information to come. It is presented as one not to miss.

Cars and Coffee arrives at The Exchange at Boulevard One with a relaxed morning meet focused on community, conversation, and a shared love of standout vehicles. To help everything run smoothly, avoid arriving excessively early and park only in the designated area at The Exchange toward the Tesla chargers in the parking lot. Team members in orange shirts will be on hand to assist. Maintain a slow speed when entering and exiting, keep drive lanes, entrances, and emergency access clear, and treat fellow attendees, vehicles, and property with care. Please be mindful of pedestrians and others who may be in the area for different reasons.

A monthly family-focused day in nature encourages outdoor exploration and learning at no cost, with no reservation needed. Activities begin near the entrance with nature journaling, then continue with a short guided walk that includes time for hands-on practice. Bluff Lake volunteer Ann Schwab shares the essentials of nature journaling, a simple approach that blends words, sketches, and numbers to capture observations, questions, and connections. Seat Check Saturday 2026 brings the year’s biggest car seat check, with options to book in advance or arrive as a walk-in or drive-in to have a child’s car seat, booster, or seat belt fit evaluated. Expect to spend about 45 minutes or longer in a hands-on session that shows how to correctly install and adjust a seat as a child grows. While a crash cannot always be avoided, the goal is to help ensure everyone in the vehicle is as protected as possible if one occurs.

Open sanctuary hours at Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary offer unhurried time to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and share space with rescued farm animals. Across 23 species, guests can wander through pens and pastures and meet the individuals who live here, with caretakers and volunteers nearby to share their stories, personalities, and everyday moments. Every ticket directly supports animals rescued from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, sustaining the lifelong care and safety they receive. Ticket pricing is intentionally kept low for accessibility, with $10 admission in advance or $15 at the gate, and free entry for EBT or SNAP cardholders with a card. The sanctuary is reachable by public transportation, one block from the 88 bus line and about a 15-minute walk from rail service. Please plan ahead for a respectful and comfortable visit. No outside food or drinks for humans or animals are permitted. Tickets are non-refundable unless an event is canceled due to severe weather. Arrive on time, as hours cannot be extended for late arrivals. Every guest needs a ticket regardless of age. Food and beverages, if available, are sold separately. Companion animals are not allowed on-site or in vehicles. This is a safe home for animals rescued from abuse, neglect, slaughter, and exploitation, and animals are neither bred nor sold. It is not a petting zoo. Some residents enjoy affection and may approach, while others prefer space, and both responses matter. Visitors are asked to move gently, respect boundaries, and let animals choose how to interact. Many residents are elderly, recovering, or living with chronic conditions, and care follows long-term wellbeing and veterinary guidance. The sanctuary is built on trust, and visitors help uphold that by honoring the animals and the space.

A weekly story time from Audacious Immersive takes place on Sundays at the Van Helsing Society. Each session features a different legendary figure reading aloud to young listeners. The selections spotlight mythical creatures and classic tales, opening a window into folklore from around the world. Surprise visits by puppet creatures add to the fun, and the atmosphere is cozy and interactive. Attendance is free.
