    Leah Marlene

TBD, New Haven · verified Jul 31
    See details

Leah Marlene brings her Small Spaces Tour to New Haven with an evening centered on songs, stories, and community. Built around closeness and presence, this performance invites listeners to experience the music as it was created, up close and in the moment, with a warm, shared atmosphere. The tour steps away from traditional stages and into intimate environments such as listening rooms, coffee shops, yoga studios, and homes across the country. In New Haven, the show is planned for a welcoming backyard setting. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, or other preferred outdoor seating. Light snacks will be available. Alcohol is permitted and the event is BYOB. If weather becomes an issue, the show will move indoors. The exact address and parking details will be provided after ticket purchase. Attendance is intentionally limited to support attentive listening. Known for vivid storytelling, genre-blurring songwriting, and a magnetic live presence, Leah blends the closeness of folk with the drive of rock to create an experience that feels both personal and shared. Born in Ontario and raised in Illinois, she placed third on Season 20 of American Idol, is now based in Nashville, has toured extensively across North America, has shared stages with Jade Bird, Peach Pit, and Margo Price, and was named a Top 50 finalist in NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest.

    Bella Rayne

Park City Music Hall, 2926 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport · verified Jul 31
    See details

Bella Rayne Band brings a guitar-forward show to Park City Music Hall, led by 18-year-old self-taught guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Bella Rayne. Born in the mountains of North Carolina and raised in coastal Mendocino, California, she blends jam-band drive, Southern rock flavor, 90s grunge edge, and a psychedelic streak into a sound gaining attention across the country. Her story began during the pandemic when she revived an old Stratocaster, taught herself by ear, and drew on rock, Americana, bluegrass, and jam traditions to shape her voice. She has already shared stages with Allman Betts Family Revival, Melvin Seals & JGB, ALO, Jackie Greene, Oteil Burbridge, and members of Terrapin Family, and she earned recognition in Guitar World from Susan Tedeschi as an artist to watch. A highlight of her rise was performing with Jerry Garcia’s famed Alligator guitar through the support of the Grateful Guitars Foundation. The band features a young group of experienced players delivering sets that weave soulful Southern rock, modern Americana, reinterpretations of Grateful Dead material, and original songs. Beyond performing, Bella partners with the Grateful Guitars Foundation to champion music education, visiting schools and encouraging young people, especially girls, to pick up instruments and pursue their musical goals. This event is open to all ages. General admission is $20 plus online ticketing fees. Park City Music Hall offers a full bar and kitchen with craft cocktails and tasty bites. The kitchen opens when doors open and serves until the Kitchen Open light is turned off. Seating is limited, since the venue is primarily standing room, and any available seats are first come, first served.
