Mt. Joy brings a 10-year celebration to Westville Music Bowl for an all-ages concert presented by Premier Concerts, Manic Presents, and Bowery Presents. The Philadelphia-born indie rock band features Matt Quinn on vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Jackie Miclau on keys and piano, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, and Michael Byrnes on bass. Known for live performances that swell into big, chant-along moments, the group has built its following through constant touring and a catalog that includes the albums Mt. Joy, Rearrange Us, and Orange Blood, along with the EP Hope We Have Fun. These stories will be recorded for future episodes of The Moth Podcast and The Moth Radio Hour. The Moth is a nonprofit devoted to the craft of storytelling and to honoring both our differences and what we share. Over the past 25 years it has brought more than 40,000 unscripted personal stories to packed rooms and to audiences around the world, producing about 600 in person and virtual shows each year and maintaining a presence in 28 cities. Through its Education, Community and Global Programs, and MothWorks, it also offers workshops for students, teachers, adults and advocates that use Moth storytelling principles as tools for empathetic communication. The event is open to all ages.
