Learn practical ways to manage life with cancer at a free Cancer Self-Management series offered at Kent County Public Library in partnership with HealthyDelaware. Sessions focus on preventing or delaying health complications and building strategies for handling frustration, fatigue, pain, isolation, poor sleep, and the uncertainty that can accompany a diagnosis. Participants also explore how to assess treatment options and complementary therapies, along with techniques for communicating more effectively with family, friends, and health professionals. Pre-registration is available, and a minimum of eight participants is required for the workshop to begin.
