Step inside several remarkable aircraft, including the only C-5 publicly on display anywhere, a C-47 that flew on D-Day, a C-54 that served in the Berlin Airlift, the first KC-10 ever built, a C-133 presented with distinctive vehicles on board, Air Force 2, and other notable firsts, lasts, and one-of-a-kind aircraft spanning from WWII to today. Take a closer look at the newest arrival, the A-10 Warthog, while knowledgeable docents, many with firsthand experience, share insights and answer questions. If it rains, outdoor aircraft will close, but the C-47 inside the hangar, the control tower, the flight simulator, and the theater will remain open. Food will be available for purchase outside from a local food truck vendor. Admission to the museum is free and open to the public, with costs only for food and items from the gift store or mobile trailer. Donations are welcome and appreciated.
