Salute to Service Poker Run will be held at Camden-Wyoming Fire Company. Pre-registration is $30 per rider and $20 per passenger and includes five door prize tickets and a lunch ticket. Explore historic aviation up close at the Air Mobility Command Museum during Open Cockpit. Step inside several remarkable aircraft, including the only C-5 publicly on display anywhere, a C-47 that flew on D-Day, a C-54 that served in the Berlin Airlift, the first KC-10 ever built, a C-133 presented with distinctive vehicles on board, Air Force 2, and other notable firsts, lasts, and one-of-a-kind aircraft spanning from WWII to today. Take a closer look at the newest arrival, the A-10 Warthog, while knowledgeable docents, many with firsthand experience, share insights and answer questions. If it rains, outdoor aircraft will close, but the C-47 inside the hangar, the control tower, the flight simulator, and the theater will remain open. Food will be available for purchase outside from a local food truck vendor. Admission to the museum is free and open to the public, with costs only for food and items from the gift store or mobile trailer. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Garden Day at the John Bell House welcomes volunteers to support First State Heritage Park by caring for a trio of vegetable and herb gardens while taking part in historical interpretation. Participants explore plants common to colonial-era gardens and how they were used, learn foundational gardening practices from that period, and help with weeding, watering, general upkeep, and harvesting as needed. Historical clothing is available to wear, and the park provides trowels, watering cans, and gloves. No experience is required, and experienced gardeners are welcome. It is also an opportunity to give back to the community in the setting of the state’s first urban park without boundaries.

A live concert brings together Zach Bryan, Alabama Shakes, Fey Fili, and Gabriella Rose at The Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware.

Step into a storybook-themed evening at Rail Haus featuring a mix of indoor space and a tented outdoor area. Formal attire is required, and literary character costumes are welcome, from the Night Court of ACOTAR and the world of Bridgerton to the many Jane Austen adaptations, Middle-earth, the Wizarding World of Hogwarts, and Game of Thrones. Creative looks are encouraged, and standout ensembles will receive prizes. Tickets are $55 per person. Each ticket includes one prom-style digital photo by Liv B Photo, with the option to purchase additional images, plus a buffet dinner. Drinks are not included. A red carpet entrance is planned to highlight formal outfits. All guests will check in at the door, and numbered tables will be called up in turn for the buffet to keep the line moving. Live music by Kevin Hartigan will provide vocals and guitar, and DJ Bridge will keep the dance floor going with requests welcomed. Plans also include a fire dancer performance and a group dance, with more information to come.
