At Ferry Park Disc Golf Course, The Global brings disc golfers together for a single day of play with impact that extends far beyond the leaderboard. This PDGA sanctioned C Tier is part of a coordinated worldwide tournament where players compete locally while contributing to a shared global identity that supports expanding access to the sport. Participation benefits the Paul McBeth Foundation and its mission to build sustainable disc golf opportunities in communities with little or no access to the game. The competition uses a two round shotgun start. In Round 1, MPO, FPO, MA40, MA50, MA1, FA1, MA2, MJ18, FJ18, and MJ15 play Short Pad to Long Basket, while FA40, FA50, MA60, FA60, MA70, FA70, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, FJ15, MJ12, FJ12, MJ10, FJ10, MJ08, and FJ08 play Short Pad to Short Basket. In Round 2, MPO, FPO, MA40, MA50, MA1, FA1, and MA2 play Long Pad to Long Basket, FA40, FA50, MA60, FA2, and MA3 play Short Pad to Long Basket, and FA60, MA70, FA70, FA3, MA4, FA4, FJ15, MJ12, FJ12, MJ10, FJ10, MJ08, and FJ08 play Short Pad to Short Basket. Amateur entrants receive a player pack valued at more than $80 that includes two premium custom stamped discs from Dynamic Discs and Discraft, a The Global branded Disc Golf Pin, a commemorative Brixton disc golf card, a full color Duo Towel from Soar Disc Golf, Paul McBeth Foundation stickers, and a donation to the foundation. For professional divisions, $35 goes to payouts, $8 covers event expenses, and $7 is donated to the Paul McBeth Foundation. 1LIFE Run Club hosts a 3-mile fun run in Destin that welcomes all paces. Participants can run, jog, or walk and enjoy an easygoing way to get moving while meeting friendly people. First-timers are welcome, and no sign-ups are required. The group keeps it simple, focusing on movement and community, and the run goes on in any weather.

A 5k run with the Ivy & Ale staff. After the run, mimosas, draught beer, and brunch will be served. Anyone who beats Andy “Speedy” Garcia is eligible for a free brunch.

Held at Growing Green Families, this single day childbirth education class helps expectant parents understand their options for birth, make informed decisions, and feel confident in their goals. Instruction explores the final trimester, mental and physical preparation, practical comfort techniques for labor and birth, how labor and birth work, what to expect after delivery, and ways to communicate and advocate for personal preferences. Breastfeeding and newborn care are not included. The class is led by Megan Scott of Stronger Together Birth Collaborative. Participants may bring lunch or plan a quick trip to pick something up so they can eat during the session. Short breaks are included, and snacks and drinks are welcome. Water and coffee or tea will be available, and a fridge and microwave are on site. The cost is $175. At Fort Walton Beach Golf Club, the fifth annual PAR 4 PATRIOTS features a four-person scramble that supports Healing Hoof Steps and Defenders of Freedom Florida. Expect on-course challenges like Beat the Pro, an AR golf ball shot, hole-in-one chances, trophies for the top three teams and a playful nod to the team that finishes last. Discovery Dive World presents a focused training weekend built around the SS United States, a massive historic vessel slated to become an artificial reef. The program equips divers to explore the ship’s decks, superstructure, and deeper areas with greater confidence. Participants complete both Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox certifications, which support deeper profiles, longer bottom times, shorter surface intervals, and reduced nitrogen loading and fatigue, all important advantages for wreck exploration. Designed for Open Water certified divers and anyone preparing to dive the SS United States, the course also suits those seeking longer dives and improved gas management. Day one centers on classroom learning and Nitrox training, including knowledge development and pool or confined water skills. Day two shifts to open water training with advanced adventure dives and final certification requirements, bringing the new skills together in real-world conditions. Graduates leave with Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications, added capability for deeper dives and wreck environments, and readiness for upcoming SS United States charters. Class sizes are kept small to support safety and high-quality instruction.

The event uses Swiss pairings with three rounds by default, and a fourth round if attendance reaches nine or more players. Each round lasts 30 minutes. Prizes include two Masters B31 packs and one promo pack for the top finisher, with promo packs also awarded to the top nine players. Every participant is entered into a free raffle. Registration is handled through Bandai TCG+. Players are welcome to bring food, and everyone is asked to clean up afterward.

The Pyramid Players bring Disney's Aladdin Jr. to Fort Walton Beach Civic Auditorium, offering a stage retelling of the timeless adventure. The event begins with a Pyramid-wide art show along with a silent auction and raffles, followed by the performance. Light refreshments will be available.
