This PDGA sanctioned C Tier is part of a coordinated worldwide tournament where players compete locally while contributing to a shared global identity that supports expanding access to the sport. Participation benefits the Paul McBeth Foundation and its mission to build sustainable disc golf opportunities in communities with little or no access to the game. The competition uses a two round shotgun start. In Round 1, MPO, FPO, MA40, MA50, MA1, FA1, MA2, MJ18, FJ18, and MJ15 play Short Pad to Long Basket, while FA40, FA50, MA60, FA60, MA70, FA70, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, FJ15, MJ12, FJ12, MJ10, FJ10, MJ08, and FJ08 play Short Pad to Short Basket. Designed for Open Water certified divers and anyone preparing to dive the SS United States, the course also suits those seeking longer dives and improved gas management. Day one centers on classroom learning and Nitrox training, including knowledge development and pool or confined water skills. Day two shifts to open water training with advanced adventure dives and final certification requirements, bringing the new skills together in real-world conditions. Graduates leave with Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certifications, added capability for deeper dives and wreck environments, and readiness for upcoming SS United States charters.
