The course is non timed and open to all ages, and participants are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas. The event features complimentary breakfast, raffle prizes, a Best Dressed Pajama Contest, and a blanket and pajama drive that provides comfort items to pediatric oncology patients. There will be opportunities to recognize local warriors and survivors and to remember those who are forever in our hearts. Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for students, with children 5 and under free. Each registration includes an exclusive Live Like Cameron Pajama 5K T shirt, a Dreaming of a Cure sleep mask, one raffle ticket, breakfast, access to all activities and contests, and a gold Childhood Cancer Awareness bracelet for each lap completed, up to seven. Finish all seven laps to collect the full set of bracelets. Every registered participant receives one raffle ticket, and an extra ticket is given for each new, unopened blanket or pair of pajamas donated. All donated items are distributed to pediatric oncology patients. Proceeds support Live Like Cameron, which since 2017 has provided financial assistance, Bags of Hope, hospital support, comfort items, and special experiences for local childhood cancer families. Participation helps bring comfort, hope, and joy to children and families facing unimaginable challenges.
