Hadestown: Teen Edition brings a contemporary lens to the intertwined myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and of Hades and Persephone. Set against an industrial-inspired vision of the underworld, an idealistic musician ventures to Hadestown to reclaim Eurydice after Hades entices her with safety at the cost of freedom. Guided by Hermes as narrator, the story delves into love, trust, sacrifice, and the pull between hope and fear, carried by a score that fuses folk, jazz, and blues into a haunting musical journey. Tickets for rows AA through QQ are priced at $35 for adults and $25 for students.

DuPlexer brings Jay Crosier on acoustic guitar and Dina Medeiros Crosier on vocals, the pair behind local band Sesame Plexer. With more than 15 years of local performances, they play songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, mixing classic rock with a contemporary edge. This live acoustic performance takes place at The Legendary Boot Hill Saloon.

After more than a decade in healthcare administration, she shifted to full time writing under 10 Lizzie Productions, bringing an understanding of human fragility and resilience to characters that feel authentic. The conversation highlights her path from healthcare to writing, how she weaves everyday complexity into Southern infused fiction, and includes a relaxed audience Q&A and a book signing. Attendance is free, with limited capacity and free registration.
