Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event

A major adoption weekend returns to the Humane Society of Sarasota County with the Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event. More than 200 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens will be ready to meet new families, and for three days all adoption fees are waived as shelters across Florida work together to find homes for 2,000 pets statewide. Adoptions will be processed in order of arrival at the shelter. While adoption fees are waived, rabies licensing charges may be required depending on county of residence. Every cat must go home in a carrier, and every dog must go home wearing a collar and leash. Bring your own or purchase affordable options in the retail store. Last year the community helped 122 pets find homes over three days, and the goal is to surpass that milestone. Food and refreshments will be available, with Sip n Brew, Taco Fusion Express, and Kona Ice participating.
