Free outdoor yoga with certified instructor Erin Collins is offered weekly as a gift to the community. Open to all levels, these sessions welcome first-time yogis and longtime practitioners alike. Children and their families take part in an interactive storytime and creative workshop that explores nature, kindness, and caring for the planet through engaging tales and a hands-on art activity. Designed with families in mind, the program can be tailored for kids ages 3 to 9, and adult participation is encouraged. The workshop is offered with Marea Saldarriaga, an author, designer, entrepreneur, and yoga instructor with more than two decades of practice and teaching experience. She is known for an inclusive, compassionate approach to movement that supports all ages and abilities, and she has written a children’s book about how sharing and kindness can help heal the world. This experience is part of Pura Vida Weekend at The Bay, a vibrant collection of Latino well-being and cultural activities that bring people together through movement, mindfulness, creative expression, time in nature, and community connection. It also contributes to The Bay’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, featuring a lively mix of no-cost offerings such as performances, movies, and wellness sessions, presented with support from High Foundation. Know before you go: Complimentary parking is available in designated lots. Use the 10th Street roundabout for vehicle entry. The park remains open during construction, though some paths and parking areas may be temporarily closed. Pets must be leashed and owners are expected to clean up after them.

The Sunday Taco ride continues into its summer stretch on the Legacy Trail, offering a relaxed, do-it-your-way cycling experience centered around taco stops. 3 Bridges Brewing and Pigfish, located inside Calusa Brewing, will be serving tacos on Sundays throughout the season. Finish a long morning spin with a celebratory plate, or meet friends for tacos first and then cruise to a few other refreshment spots. This open format welcomes riders of all paces and styles, building a new Sunday tradition along the trail.
