A group motorcycle ride traces a route from Revere to the Mount Washington summit, following an official ZMG itinerary with planned regrouping and fuel breaks along the way. Riders set out from Shell Revere, pause at Nouria and Irving in Rochester, then top off at Irving Oil in North Conway before the climb. The ascent is via the Mount Washington Auto Road, with time at the top to purchase passes, grab a light lunch at the visitor center, take ZMG group photos, and rest. Weather at the summit is highly variable, so packing a warm jacket or windbreaker is recommended. The return features a careful descent using engine braking in first or second gear to protect the brakes, with additional gas and stretch stops at Shell and Circle K in Ossipee and at Mobil and 7-Eleven in Dover. The ride concludes in the Boston area, where the formation disperses and everyone heads home safely. Safety guidelines include starting in Revere with a full tank, riding single file with proper spacing on the mountain, keeping a steady pace, and avoiding passes in curves. The focus is on a responsible experience where the group departs together and comes back together.

The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival offers an afternoon of poetry on the front lawn of the Longfellow House with a reading by Marie Howe, recipient of the 2026 Golden Rose Award for Poetry. Norton in 2024, a volume that brings together work from her four earlier books.
