Milton Porchfest returns with an afternoon of live music shared across neighborhood porches, yards, and driveways. Celebrated as the fourth-oldest Porchfest tradition in Massachusetts, this year marks the 10th anniversary since its founding and the ninth edition following a pause in 2020. Attendees stroll from set to set, enjoying a wide range of performers at pop-up stages, often bringing friends, family, and a lawn chair for easy listening. The music carries on rain or shine. If the weather turns, hosts move performances under cover into porches, tents, or open garages, so bringing a poncho or umbrella can be helpful. Several local food vendors will be serving throughout the day, and public portable restrooms will be available at Shields Park. This is a grassroots, community-funded celebration that does not accept corporate sponsorships. Official Milton Porchfest T-shirts, priced at $20, help sustain the festival and will be sold by volunteer street teams in local spots ahead of time as well as at main merchandise tables during the event. The familiar neighborhood layout returns, and an interactive schedule, performer lineup, and downloadable maps will be shared online as the day approaches.

The NESFA Library is open to the public during Library Hours. Members may check out or return books, magazines, audiobooks, and DVDs, and everyone can browse more than 20,000 items, read on site, or chat with others. There are also video showings at the Clubhouse after Library Hours, and separate events will be posted for those. Membership costs $24 per year and is open to anyone.

Powerhouse Pilates offers an outdoor, all levels mat session led by Balanced Body comprehensively certified instructor Courtney Hanlon. Expect core focused, posture supporting, low impact sequences, with plenty of options so beginners feel comfortable and experienced participants can still push themselves. Courtney brings several years of teaching experience and a lifelong love of movement. She serves as studio manager at Boston Body Pilates, Waterfront, and teaches full time. Seaport Sweat classes do not require equipment, though bringing a mat is welcome. The series partners with Mass General Brigham Health Plan and NOBULL, and complimentary water is available at the Mass General Brigham Health Plan hydration station on Seaport Common next to The Current. Attendance is free and open to the public, and no RSVP or ticket is needed. Seaport Insider members can scan the on site QR code to collect points and redeem rewards. By participating, attendees grant organizers permission to use photos and video. Anyone who prefers not to be photographed can let the photographer know. Participation is subject to a release and waiver that should be reviewed and accepted before class.
