Celebrated as the fourth-oldest Porchfest tradition in Massachusetts, this year marks the 10th anniversary since its founding and the ninth edition following a pause in 2020. Attendees stroll from set to set, enjoying a wide range of performers at pop-up stages, often bringing friends, family, and a lawn chair for easy listening. The music carries on rain or shine. If the weather turns, hosts move performances under cover into porches, tents, or open garages, so bringing a poncho or umbrella can be helpful. Several local food vendors will be serving throughout the day, and public portable restrooms will be available at Shields Park. This is a grassroots, community-funded celebration that does not accept corporate sponsorships. The Mini Portrait Experience includes 15 minutes of photography and one favorite image to download. After the photos are taken, a Zoom video call is set up to choose your favorite, which will be edited and delivered as a digital file.
