Grease brings the pulse of high school life to the stage, following Sandy, the new student at Rydell High, and Danny, the charismatic leader of the Greasers, as their relationship collides with friendships, expectations, and the search for identity. Beloved for its lively songs and spirited choreography, this hit musical dives into youth, peer pressure, teenage angst, and personal growth. Performances for this summer are being held at Temple Beth El in an air conditioned theater as an alternate venue to ensure comfort for performers, crew, and patrons. The production is directed by Stevie Norman and Michael King, with music direction by Graham Christian and choreography by Chantel Martin.

A five-time GRAMMY-winning songwriter, producer, vocalist, and longtime Buddy Guy drummer, he appears with his powerhouse band for a high-energy set that blends top-tier musicianship with stories behind the songs. He performs material he has written and produced for artists including Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, B.B. King, Van Morrison, George Thorogood, Joe Bonamassa, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Keb’ Mo’, Susan Tedeschi, Jason Isbell, and Steven Tyler. Across his career he has written more than 1,000 songs, produced over 100 albums, produced 15 GRAMMY-nominated records, and toured as musical director and drummer for Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and Roy Buchanan.
