The Downtown Springfield Farmers’ Market is a free, weekly event featuring local farmers, food vendors, and artisans. Expect fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and handmade items, plus live music each week. It runs every Friday in the summer from late spring through August, with the featured date offering the market from late morning into the afternoon.

Enjoy free live outdoor music at the MGM Springfield Plaza, with cover and tribute bands. The plaza opens for guests at 6:00 PM, and the live music begins at 7:30 PM, running until about 9:00 PM. Bring a lawn chair to the Lawn Chair Section for a great spot to relax, and cool off with a drink from the Plaza Bar or a craft beer from White Lion Brewing, plus food from a food truck.

Kids Garden Day features an Enchanted Garden themed scavenger hunt. Participants visit a series of spots to collect different materials, then use them to assemble their own enchanted garden at the finish. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Fat City Kid Food Truck. Supplies and activities are available while supplies last.

Designed for little music lovers and their caregivers, this 30 minute program features singing, clapping, and stomping together to well loved children’s songs. No registration is required and walk ins are welcome. During the warmer months, when it is at least 55 degrees, dry, and not too windy, the program takes place on the lawn. Emergency cancellations will be shared on Facebook.

Enjoy a relaxed, family friendly gathering centered on a freshly cooked meal. There is time before and after to connect in groups, linger with others, and take part in arts activities. Helpers are appreciated before and after, and pay what you wish donations are accepted but not required. Come hungry and head out feeling nourished. All are welcome.

Family Improv Jam at Unity House Players features simple theater games that spark imaginative stories, quirky characters, and lots of laughter. It is recommended for children ages 6 to 13, and parents and older siblings are welcome to participate alongside them. Admission for the general public is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family each week, and UUSGS members attend for free.

Now in its 40th year, the Rotary Club of East Longmeadow presents a Summer Concert Series at Mapleshade Elementary School, made possible with sponsorship from Cloud 9 Marketing Group. The lineup spans eight performances by A-Ray of Elvis, Union Jack, 7Roads Band, Brass Attack, The 60's Experience, Above the Treeline, and Pride Falls, with Trailer Trash featured as part of a special show paired with East Longmeadow's Laser Light Show. Admission and parking are free, and guests are welcome to bring their own chairs.

The concert runs during the weekly Lawn Party series, with food trucks, lawn games, and a relaxed downtown summer vibe. Admission is free and open to all ages. You’re welcome to bring your own lawn chair(s), and smoking is prohibited on The Landing during the concert series.
