Summer on the River returns to Holyoke Rows with free kayaking, fishing, and other outdoor activities presented through Mass DCR Summer Nights. The program is created with teens ages 13 to 17 in mind and welcomes families with children and youth of any age. Participants under 18 take part with a parent, guardian, or another accompanying adult, so it is a family-focused experience rather than a drop-off or adults-only outing. No registration is required. Spare Time Windsor Locks hosts an appreciation night celebrating hometown heroes, including first responders, healthcare workers, fire, police, military, EMTs, dispatchers, and others.
