Presented by J&T Crova Towing and Ford Community Relations, this festival returns to Ford Field Park with a weekend of live music, fireworks, carnival rides, and cultural experiences suited to all age groups. Discover how period designs are interpreted and produced for today. The program takes place outside The Gallery by General Motors at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Pair the experience with Fabric of America: Our Fashions, Textiles, and Technologies, a limited-time exhibition that examines how textiles help shape American identity. Both the program and the exhibition are free for members or included with regular museum admission.

Participants can make a dinosaur themed craft in the Youth Area. Supplies are limited, so materials will be available only until they run out.

Glide by the river during an outdoor roller skating session that blends movement with nature. This River Glow roller skating edition features Sarovyn and Rollerskate Detroit for a 2.5-hour experience with a professional skate performance, a DJ set with sound, trained staff led by a designated safety lead, and rental skates. The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Some supplies may be limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each installment offers a new spin that celebrates community, stewardship, and joy, and the Visitor Center will remain open late.

Join Movie Nights in the D for a free outdoor movie night at Campus Martius Park. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy Zootopia 2 (PG) under the stars. The fourth annual Motor City Foxfest, powered by NPD, celebrates Blue Oval performance and community at the Ford Experience Center (FXC). Dedicated to Ford-powered Fox chassis vehicles from 1978 through 2004, it brings longtime enthusiasts, new owners, and fans of the platform together around the cars they love. Steve Saleen, legendary Mustang tuner and automotive icon, will be on hand, offering a rare chance to hear directly from a pioneer of foxbody performance. Each participant receives a wristband that serves as entry at participating eateries, an event guide highlighting the stops, and sample-size portions along the way. Early wristband pickup is encouraged to help avoid lines, and event-day check-in will also be available. Glass artist Jason Christian is in residence at the Greenfield Village Glass Shop, working side by side with the shop's artisans to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect his distinctive method. Based in the Seattle area, he entered the field at 21 as a factory charger and developed his expertise through hands-on experience. His career includes collaborations with noted Seattle artists such as Martin Blank, Preston Singletary, James Mongrain, and Nancy Callan. For nearly a decade he has been a key member of Dale Chihuly's boathouse team, working with international artists including Pino Signoretto. His personal practice focuses on reticello, classical Venetian techniques, and a modern, understated aesthetic. Recently he has been crafting works inspired by Fabergé, blending the intricate lattice of reticello with the ornate detailing associated with Fabergé eggs. Pedal past historic homes, working farms, and touchpoints of innovation that nod to Henry Ford’s pioneering Quadricycle and the Wright brothers’ early bicycle shop roots. Along the route, stop for distinctive photo moments and ride beside historic bicycles with the Michigan Wheelmen, who share antique cycles and living history presentations that keep cycling’s heritage alive. The experience features an upbeat 1980s soundtrack and a new bike decorating station in Detroit Central Market, then continues inside The Lodge at Christie & Main with the returning Ride-In Theater and a screening of the 1986 cult classic Rad. Young riders can enjoy a training-wheels-only area near the Herschell-Spillman Carousel and the Donald F. Kosch Village Playground, both included with admission. To support a smooth and safe experience, entry is offered in selectable windows at purchase. Access to the full village is limited, a designated biking route guides the ride, and historic buildings are not open. A bicycle is required for each ticketholder. Electronic bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are not permitted. Helmets are encouraged but not required.
