    Marsh Clean Up

    Help protect wildlife and waterways at Crosswinds by picking up litter along the paths, boardwalks, and shoreline. When wind and weather allow, cleanup can continue on the water using provided canoes, paddles, and life jackets. Each canoe must have at least two people. Capacity is three adults, or two adults with two children who are 12 or younger. Children under 12 must stay with an adult, and those younger than 10 will not be allowed to paddle. Boats are limited to a total of 570 pounds and weight should be balanced. Canoe waivers for all participants will be available on site the day of the program. Park in the main lot and meet at the canoe sheds. This is a free program, and advance registration is required with space limited to 50 participants. To register, call the Wayne County Parks front desk at 734-261-1990. Please note that staff may photograph participants for promotional use in print, online, and social media unless notified otherwise.
