    Slift

El Club, 4114 W Vernor Hwy, Detroit · verified Oct 2
    See details

SLIFT brings its powerful, space-minded psych rock to El Club in Detroit. The Toulouse trio melds massive riffs, cosmic atmospheres, and trance-inducing patterns, shaping an immersive, high-energy performance. Their album Ummon earned wide recognition for expansive, science fiction tinged compositions and is often mentioned alongside adventurous groups like King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Kikagaku Moyo, while pushing even deeper into progressive territory. On stage the band turns these ideas into a full-body rush... thunderous rhythm, roaring guitars, and swirling sonics that feel immediate and otherworldly. Listeners drawn to psychedelic rock, krautrock, and heavy experimental sounds can expect an intense night of deep grooves and cosmic exploration. This is an all ages show.
