    Urban Sketchers Twin Cities hosts a relaxed sketching day at Historic Eidem Farm, a 19 acre living history site in Brooklyn Park just north of 694. Admission is free, with free on site parking and restrooms available. The farm preserves early 20th century agricultural life on land that was once part of a leading potato growing region in the United States. Deeded to the City of Brooklyn Park in 1970, it operates as a museum offering programs and community gatherings. Artists will find plenty to draw, including the well kept Victorian house, barns, outbuildings, historic equipment, gardens, walking paths, and farm animals. Those who enjoy architecture can work from both interior and exterior views, and nature focused sketchers will discover abundant scenes across the grounds. Meet near the entrance for a friendly welcome with the hosts, then reconnect later to share sketches and take a group photo. There are no concessions on the farm.
