This monthly BPWT general meeting takes place at Brooklyn Park City Hall. Expect updates on BPWT activities and upcoming events, along with opportunities to share ideas that support the community. A relaxed social time comes first, followed by the meeting. Visitors are welcome, and the gathering is open to all.

Little ones ages 5 and under have a dedicated jump session made just for them. Kids can bounce, explore, and play in a space tailored to young adventurers, while parents are welcome to jump alongside at no cost. It is an easy way to use up some energy and make memories together.

Fresh finds return to Riverfront Memorial Park as the farmers market expands for an extended season. The open air market features produce, baked goods, cottage foods, farmstead products, flowers, and more, with the selection growing as the season progresses. The extended season offers up to 11 vendors, while the regular season welcomes as many as 25, creating a total run of 23 weeks. In case of inclement weather, the market moves indoors at City Hall. During the summer months, the City’s Rockin’ on the Rum concert series takes place during the market at Riverfront Memorial Park, adding live music alongside the shopping.

Brooklyn Park Voices and The Wood at Zanewood Recreation Center are teaming up for a summer flag football series on the Zanewood Elementary school field. Open to ages 8 to 18, it welcomes experienced players as well as those who simply want to run around and have fun with friends. Weather dependent, participants can meet new people, keep moving, and enjoy the game. Snacks and drinks will be available.

Head to Badwolf for a welcoming night of Magic: The Gathering in the Standard format, where strategy, luck, and memorable plays come together. Expect relaxed games with a friendly community, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to take part. This weekly FNM booster draft features a $25 entry fee. Each player drafts from three packs and then plays three rounds. Prizing is based on match record: a 3-0 finish receives five packs, 2-1 or 2-0-1 receives three packs, and 1-2 or 1-1-1 receives one pack. At least one prize pack is guaranteed for all participants.

This constructed format event has a $10 entry and uses best of three matches. Every participant is guaranteed at least two prize packs, with more awarded according to final record. In a four round setup, a 4-0 finish earns 8 packs, 3-0-1 earns 6, 3-1 earns 4, and 2-1-1 earns 3, while all other records receive 2. If there are three rounds, a 3-0 finish earns 5 packs, 2-0-1 earns 4, 2-1 earns 3, and all other records receive 2.

This weekly Yugioh tournament centers on the Edison format. The entry fee is $10. All participants are guaranteed a minimum of two prize packs, with OTS packs available, and extra packs are awarded based on final standings.

Now in its third year, the Twin Cities Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament returns to the metro with its signature street-ball atmosphere. North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park becomes a lively hub of hoops, community, and summer fun as teams of all ages and skill levels compete throughout the weekend. Spectators can take in the action while enjoying music, local food vendors, family-friendly activities, and a car show, all wrapped in the trademark energy that defines Gus Macker.

The Andover Card Show, hosted and managed by Real Sportscards, brings together more than 100 regional dealers at the Andover Community Center for a lively day of buying, selling, and trading. Attendees can browse vintage and modern sports cards, Pokémon and other TCG, high-end singles, graded slabs, sealed packs and boxes, and plenty of bargain bins. The event welcomes all ages and is family friendly. Admission is free with registration required. Free parking is available, and security will be on site. Dealers should note that tables are limited and available only through the official Real Sportscards mobile app, and payments are never requested by text, direct message, or comments outside the app.

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities hosts a relaxed sketching day at Historic Eidem Farm, a 19 acre living history site in Brooklyn Park just north of 694. Admission is free, with free on site parking and restrooms available. The farm preserves early 20th century agricultural life on land that was once part of a leading potato growing region in the United States. Deeded to the City of Brooklyn Park in 1970, it operates as a museum offering programs and community gatherings. Artists will find plenty to draw, including the well kept Victorian house, barns, outbuildings, historic equipment, gardens, walking paths, and farm animals. Those who enjoy architecture can work from both interior and exterior views, and nature focused sketchers will discover abundant scenes across the grounds. Meet near the entrance for a friendly welcome with the hosts, then reconnect later to share sketches and take a group photo. There are no concessions on the farm. Build a character, learn the basic rules, and jump into a beginner-friendly adventure to put new skills into action. No prior experience or supplies are needed.
