A group of past-their-prime Broadway actors heads to a small Indiana town after hearing that a teen is not allowed to bring her girlfriend to prom. Their attention-seeking campaign throws the community into turmoil, then opens the door to laughter, compassion, and a jubilant celebration of being yourself. This musical blends an infectious pop score with a story about love, acceptance, and the courage to do what is right. Directed by Amanda White, with music direction by Wesley Frye, and choreography by Lauri Kraft and Michael Terrell Brown. THE PROM features book and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Bob Martin, and music by Matthew Sklar, inspired by an original concept from Jack Viertel. Recognized with the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical.

Part of the 2026 Concert on the Lawn Summer Series, this gathering on the CAC front lawn features the Percolators Band performing refreshing rock from the 60s and beyond, along with country, blues, R&B, and ballads. Concessions offered by the Brooklyn Park Lions will be available for purchase with cash or card, including hamburgers or cheeseburgers for $7, hotdogs for $2, chips for $1, water for $1, Propel Water for $3, and 12 oz Gatorade for $2. Attendees may want to bring a lawn chair or blanket, as only a limited number of chairs will be provided. All ages are welcome to enjoy live music, food, and a friendly community atmosphere.

Set along the river at Mississippi Crossings in Champlin, this MC Summer Series concert features Ashley Wineland with a country performance in a relaxed, all‑ages setting and scenic views. Food and drinks are available for purchase from Char Blu at a service window facing the outdoor stage, with quick grab‑and‑go options throughout the show, plus two outdoor restrooms and a convenient bar with walk‑up service nearby. The Lookout Bar and Grill will also be onsite, and inside Mississippi Crossings you can find Jensen’s Market along with Cullen’s Ice Cream. Leashed, well‑mannered dogs are welcome and owners must clean up after them, though pets are not permitted in the lower seating area or on the turf. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed; water in coolers is permitted and coolers may be inspected. Overflow parking is available nearby, with additional options across the highway via the pedestrian tunnel. Do not park in boat launch trailer stalls, and use only designated parking areas. The performance features hits by Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Tool, Silverchair, Foo Fighters, Candlebox, Soundgarden, Local H, Pearl Jam, The Offspring, Rage Against the Machine, Screaming Trees, Collective Soul, Helmet, Sponge, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins and Bush.

Seattle Reign appears at Casa Rio with a high-energy, true-to-the-era 1990s rock and grunge experience. The performance centers on the sound and spirit of the decade, offering an immersive take on its signature style.
