Walk with a Doc brings the community together for a guided stroll with local healthcare professionals. At Wright Brothers National Memorial, the walk is led by Erin Baker, DO, FAAFP, DipABLM, from Outer Banks Health Family Medicine in Manteo, alongside other Outer Banks Health providers. Expect gentle movement paired with straightforward wellness tips shared in a welcoming atmosphere. Participation is free and suited to every age and ability. Enjoy an immersive outdoor mixed-media installation called “Weather the Storm” by artist Lara E. Parks at Dare Arts’ Courtyard. The artwork blends light, shadow, sound, movement, and fabric, and it shifts with the changing weather and natural light, making each visit feel a little different. The installation is on display for the season, with the Courtyard located in the heart of downtown Manteo.

The Downtown Manteo Market is a weekly community marketplace in Manteo that gathers local artisans, bakers, growers, and artists in one of the town's most picturesque locations. It offers a relaxed setting to discover locally made goods and creative work while meeting the people who craft them.

OBX Vintage Market offers a summer edition that invites vintage enthusiasts to browse and buy from participating sellers of vintage goods. Vendors interested in taking part are invited to apply.

Amara Breisch and Mary Joy McDaniel team up for a summer series in the Outer Banks as the Unsaid Drama Tour. The run spotlights new music, with Mary Joy set to release the EP So Much Unsaid in December and Amara working toward the upcoming EP Drama Queen this year.
