    As part of the Lincoln Community Foundation Garden Performance Series, Nebraska Brass brings a brass quintet program shaped by decades of artistry. Active since 1987, the ensemble presents a five-concert season in multiple Nebraska cities each year, performs an expansive range of music, and commissions new works to keep brass chamber music vibrant. Education is central to their mission through the Brass Goes to School outreach, which has shared engaging, age-appropriate performances, musical insights, and Q&A with thousands of students in Lincoln and Omaha over the past 15 years. The musicians draw on broad experience across classical and commercial styles, with credits that include the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Mannheim Steamroller, along with tours throughout the United States and internationally. Many also teach in Nebraska public schools and at Nebraska Wesleyan University, bringing a strong educational perspective to the stage.
