Bring the kids for an art and reading hour designed to spark imagination. Caregivers and their littles are invited to explore a story-filled world in the Rainbow Rainbow room at Meow Wolf Santa Fe’s House of Eternal Return. Check in with security and follow directions to Rainbow Rainbow, and plan to go through screening upon arrival.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum keeps its doors open later on the first Friday of each month, creating an evening opportunity to experience the art. Admission is complimentary all day for New Mexico residents, and there is a free entry window for everyone in the evening. These First Friday evenings also feature added programs and activities.

Bring a plant you are ready to pass along or simply browse and chat with fellow plant lovers in the Southside Library Café Room. Everyone is welcome, and planting supplies and plant books can be shared as well. The swap uses shared tables where all available plants and items are placed, and participants may take what appeals to them even if they did not bring something to trade. There are typically extras available. Attendees may set up one-on-one exchanges on their own, but moderators will not coordinate those. If you bring items that are not intended for swapping, place them on the counters around the edges of the room to prevent mixups. Attendance often ranges from roughly 30 to 60 people, varying by season. Please observe a few guidelines while participating. Do not bring sick or pest-infested plants, avoid essential oils, and do not vend or sell items.

Entry is $10, the event runs with at least four players, and first place takes home an ETB.

This event honors seven decades of Temple Beth Shalom with a festive picnic under tents that includes dinner and a special dessert featuring seven cakes for seven decades. Live music from Lumbre del Sol sets the tone while guests enjoy activities for all ages such as creating a community garland, playing Jenga and cornhole, visiting a children’s water area with bubbles, and getting faces painted. Reunions and special recognition are planned, with Rabbi Marvin and Janet Schwab traveling from California and Mayor Michael Garcia among those who have RSVP'd. A social action component adds purpose through an art fundraiser benefiting Gerard’s House. RSVP is required.

Hosted by the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, this monthly Family Day takes place on the Second Sunday and is offered at no cost to participants and to New Mexico residents. Presented in collaboration with the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and the Santa Fe Public Library, it welcomes all ages to take part in hands-on artmaking, storytelling, and creative activities.

An evening of original music from Bob Fox, performed alongside Robby Beasley on trumpet, Alex Murzyn on saxophone, Gordy Johnson on bass, and Arnaldo Acosta on drums. This event welcomes all ages. General admission is $20, seniors 65 and older receive a discount, and attendees 18 and under are admitted free.

This Pokémon event features off-meta play for adults, while kids play in the standard format. Entry is free, with a focus on fun and enjoyment of the game.

Monsieur Periné appears in concert with Christina Gomez y Los Cuates. Fronted by Catalina García and Santiago Prieto Sarabia of Colombia, the project blends pop, jazz, and swing with Latin American styles such as guaracha, salsa, cumbia, and bolero, with songs that reflect on the world, love, and freedom. Since their 2012 debut, the group has earned international recognition, winning the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist for the 2015 album Caja de Música, performing at major festivals, receiving additional Grammy honors, and releasing three more critically acclaimed albums. Gary Farmer & the Troublemakers bring a soulful blend of blues, roots, and jam to Santa Fe Plaza. Led by Gary Farmer, a Cayuga Nation artist known for roles in films such as Dead Man, Smoke Signals, and Powwow Highway, the Santa Fe based group has spent more than three decades on the scene with seven albums to its name. Their 2022 release, Fool for Love, received Best Americana Album at the New Mexico Music Awards. This event is sponsored by the Institute of American Indian Arts. All ages are welcome. Plan for standing room or bring blankets or chairs. Street and garage parking are available. Bring a refillable water bottle, as filling stations will be on site. Food vendors will be present and the event is alcohol free. Accessibility accommodations are available upon request. Filming and photography may occur for Lensic marketing and promotional use. During Summer Scene Railyard concerts, a late night southbound Rail Runner departs from the Santa Fe Depot Station and stops at stations between Santa Fe and Downtown Albuquerque.
