The Santa Fe Artists Market is an outdoor market in the Santa Fe Railyard where you can browse a wide variety of fine art and handcrafted items from local juried artists. Expect everything from pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, and sculpture to woodwork, furniture, and textiles. Look for the market in Railyard Plaza next to the Water tower.

Bring a plant you are ready to pass along or simply browse and chat with fellow plant lovers in the Southside Library Café Room. Everyone is welcome, and planting supplies and plant books can be shared as well. The swap uses shared tables where all available plants and items are placed, and participants may take what appeals to them even if they did not bring something to trade. There are typically extras available. Attendees may set up one-on-one exchanges on their own, but moderators will not coordinate those. If you bring items that are not intended for swapping, place them on the counters around the edges of the room to prevent mixups. Attendance often ranges from roughly 30 to 60 people, varying by season. Please observe a few guidelines while participating. Do not bring sick or pest-infested plants, avoid essential oils, and do not vend or sell items.

The entry fee is $40 and includes a kit for the prerelease. The format consists of three rounds, with two packs awarded for each round victory. Participants who finish without a loss receive an extra pack.

Guided by Santa Fe artists Laura Tarnoff and Mickey Bond, you will practice clean contours and gentle color shifts that suggest desert light and distance. Learn to blend warm ochres and rich reds for rolling forms, define the crisp mesa line of Pedernal, and use light and shadow to convey a sense of space and stillness. All supplies are provided, and light snacks are included. Beginners are welcome, and you may bring a favorite beverage or treat. Enrollment is capped at 12 participants, and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. This class takes place at Artful Soul: Creative Experiences in Santa Fe. The studio is on the ground level at the back of Santa Fe Village Mall. There is no public parking on site, so plan to park on the street or in the Water Street parking lot.

El Agua es Vida, or Water is Life, is a cross-disciplinary performance of theater, dance, live music, and visual art devised and performed by Moving Arts students together with artists from multiple generations. Rooted in the idea of water as a living connection across New Mexico’s land, culture, and community, the work honors those who have fought to protect it, bringing acequia traditions to the Lensic stage. For many participants, Moving Arts serves as a creative home where they collaborate with working artists and mentors while discovering their voices. Preparing for the Lensic involves intensive rehearsals, long hours of collaboration, and the blend of pressure and pride that comes with stepping onto a widely respected New Mexico stage. Alongside choreography and music, students are creating original visual pieces that deepen the storytelling and transform the stage into a vivid expression of their ideas and heritage. More than a showcase, the event offers young people a chance to connect with culture, build confidence, and take pride in where they come from. It highlights resilience and belonging through many art forms and includes a preview of an upcoming documentary featuring Moving Arts.

The One Piece Super League features a $10 entry fee. Prize packs scale with participation and are awarded to the top three participants. One dollar from each entry is set aside for the end of season Super League. Players earn points for attending, playing, and winning.

Presented by the Lensic, this recital in a three-part series features soprano Lucy Crowe and tenor Josh Lovell at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe. The series highlights young artists engaged with the Santa Fe Opera season, with conductor and pianist Robert Tweten, head of the music staff at Santa Fe Opera, leading. Crowe, a versatile and highly respected singer who received an OBE in the King’s Birthday Honors, is known for work across opera, concert, and recital stages worldwide. Lovell has been appearing in prominent houses, performing repertoire from the Baroque and Romantic eras as well as modern works of the 20th century. Tickets are $39 to $76.
