Car, truck, and motorcycle enthusiasts gather at Pizza Hut Wingstreet in Ontario for a weekly cruise-in that welcomes show cars, rat rods, trucks, and bikes with no registration fee. Attendees can look forward to giveaways and door prizes, along with a food discount for participants. Music spanning the '50s through the '90s sets the soundtrack for a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere open to all.

At Tin Can Chandelier, this hands-on workshop teaches how to spin your own yarn using a drop spindle. Guided by Ginger, who has more than 40 years of experience, participants learn the basics of drafting and adding twist, then try a few spinning wheels after getting comfortable with the fundamentals. Everyone takes home a drop spindle and raw wool for continued practice. The session is a springboard to topics like using a spinning wheel, designing yarn for particular projects, and working with soft specialty fibers such as silk, angora, and alpaca. It can also serve as a meaningful homeschool project. Class sizes are intentionally small for plenty of one-on-one instruction. Open to ages 10 and up. Price is $45. Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 4 participants and will run with as few as 1.

An evening gathering in the alley behind the City Center centers on food, music, encouragement, and community. Attendees can enjoy an open mic with live performances, hear personal stories from local speakers, visit a prayer table, and connect with new and familiar faces. Part of the Summer Sessions series, this event offers a welcoming setting to come together, share life, and find hope alongside others.

Celebrate movement and wellness at a community fitness festival featuring a 5K run or walk, yoga, weightlifting, and a marketplace of fitness vendors. The day also includes the Final Mile walk for Move Ontario participants. All proceeds benefit local school athletic departments. The Main Street Car & Truck Show rolls in as part of the 2nd Annual End of Summer Main Street Bash, presented by Big 3 Racing and organized by Kandi Blaze & Friends. All makes and models are welcome, from classics and customs to hot rods, street machines, trucks and daily drivers. Registration takes place on show day only, there is no preset fee, and contributions of any amount are accepted, with 100% of car and truck registration donations going to this year’s selected nonprofit. Limited edition dash plaques will be available for the first 200 registered vehicles. Awards highlight a wide range of builds, including Coolest Ride on Main St, Most Radical or Modified, Vintage Beauty, Ladies Choice selected by the Pin Up Gala, Rust Belt Beauty and the Big 3 Racing Choice. Big 3 Racing will showcase a collection of its well known street and strip machines seen at national gatherings like Roadkill Nights and featured by outlets such as Dragzine, Sick Week and Sick Magazine. Guests can talk with team members and get a close look at the cars on display only, with no burnouts or exhibition runs downtown. Throughout the day, the Bash adds live music and entertainment, a 50/50, non food vendors, downtown dining and shopping, family activities, the Ms. Main Street Bash Vintage Pin Up Pageant and Gala hosted by Kandi Blaze and the Beards on Main competition with the Appalachian Bearded Mafia. Only registered show vehicles may park inside the designated Main Street display area, while spectators can use free public lots around downtown. Updated maps and performance schedules will be shared as details are finalized. The motorcycle show connected with the Bash is managed separately with its own registration, parking and awards and is not part of this car and truck show. Proceeds raised through the End of Summer Main Street Bash benefit the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation in honor of eight-year-old “Officer” Allysson Nead, focusing the celebration of cars, trucks, music and local businesses on a meaningful cause.

Buckeye Imagination Museum turns into a radiant nighttime experience under building-wide black lights. Wearing bright white or neon will make you glow as you enjoy music, games, hands-on crafts, a movie, and illuminated exhibits for families throughout the museum. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase. Tickets cost $10 per person for ages 2 and up. Because this is a special event, members also pay admission.

The Visual Bucket List Foundation marks ten years of impact with a celebratory gala at Loft & Rails Wedding and Event Center. Guests can look forward to dinner and dancing, a cash bar, a silent auction, and heartfelt stories that showcase how the organization helps children facing vision loss capture meaningful visual memories. The gathering honors the accomplishments of the past decade and supports creating more unforgettable experiences in the years ahead.

The annual Ultimate Veteran Adventures Banquet returns to mark America’s 250th anniversary, honoring the nation’s heritage of freedom and the veterans who helped secure it. Special guest speaker Dr. Jimmy Sites will headline the program. The evening includes raffles, both live and silent auctions, and prizes throughout. Ticket availability is capped at 200, there are no additional allotments and tickets will not be sold at the door. The event supports a mission of inspiring others through outdoor experiences.

Richland County Fairgrounds hosts a single, large-scale rodeo event in Mansfield, Ohio, packed with classic Western action. Newsies Jr. comes to life with a high-spirited staging by Mansfield Youth Theatre. Inspired by the historic New York City newsboys strike around the turn of the 20th century, the musical follows Jack Kelly and a crew of young workers who challenge unjust conditions. As they organize and take action, they discover courage, solidarity, and the strength of a shared purpose. This production features an enthusiastic ensemble and showcases the commitment and collaboration of youth from the area. Expect vigorous choreography, an engaging narrative, and a resilient spirit in every scene. Welcoming to audiences of every age, it celebrates grit, friendship, and the ability of young people to spark real change.

Half Pints heads to Mansfield for a stop at Pheonix Brewing Company, a welcoming two-level venue with warm hospitality and friendly people.

Each week features casual Pokemon play where participants can put their decks to the test against strong competition and make trades with other trainers.

Dungeons & Dragons is running each week with active sessions, and the group is seeking additional D&D players along with another Dungeon Master. There is interest in Magic and other tabletop role playing games as well. The focus is on building the community and having fun. This night also features 99 cent wings.
