The tour is free, and optional donations support accessible programming at the Newark Earthworks. There is no need to register in advance. Plan to walk about 0.6 kilometers, or roughly 0.3 miles. Dress for the weather, as the tour goes ahead in any conditions.

    Friday Farmers Market

    This weekly farmers market carries on in any weather, with vendors set beneath covered open air pavilions. More than 40 farmers, bakers, and other local businesses take part, and the lineup changes from week to week. Look for a different food truck and live entertainment each time. Shoppers using SNAP or EBT can visit the Director's Table in the center pavilion to swipe their card and receive a one to one match, up to $25, in Produce Perks tokens to spend on fruits and vegetables, while SNAP dollars can be used for other eligible items. The Canal Market District Match also adds up to $100 on SNAP, EBT, or WIC purchases, and these matching funds can be used for any food item. This program is sponsored by the Licking County Foundation.
