Senior World Heritage Archaeologist Brad Lepper leads a guided walk through the Octagon of the Newark Earthworks, sharing insights into its origins, cultural meaning, and continuing legacy. Recognized within a UNESCO World Heritage site, this expansive geometric earthwork offers a rare look at a remarkable ancient landscape. No registration is needed, and the tour is free, with optional donations helping to support accessible programming at the Newark Earthworks. Plan for approximately 1.5 kilometers, about one mile, of walking. The program takes place rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

Experience a weekly farmers market that runs in any weather, with vendors set up beneath open-air covered pavilions. More than forty local farmers, bakers, and makers offer fresh produce and goods, and the roster changes from week to week. A different food truck and entertainment are featured each time.
