In an Arizona diner in 1955, Sally, a star-struck young waitress, is thrilled about the wedding of movie star Lovey Lamour and crooner Johnny Jerome... until a mysterious customer reveals herself as Lovey. After fleeing the ceremony and breaking down on the highway, Lovey hides out at the diner while her car gets fixed. To avoid recognition, Sally shows her the ropes of waitressing. Their plan starts to crumble when a nosy news photographer uncovers the truth and alerts Johnny to where she is. The laughs build with a hot-tempered cook, Sally’s geeky boyfriend, an endlessly hungry regular, the world’s worst mechanic, and even Elvis before he was famous. Featuring a cast of all ages, this is an affectionate nod to the golden age of diners with plenty of comic twists.

Summer Bizarre fills The Property Event Center with a full slate of activities for all ages. Look for a car show with awards, a dedicated kid zone, and tattoos and piercings available until close. Two mystery contests add a surprise element, and more than 20 vendors keep the marketplace lively all day. As night approaches, the entertainment ramps up with a fire performance, the Bizarre Battle Royal, and pro wrestling. Food and drinks come from Angels Snow Cones, Boomtown BBQ, WFC Kitchen, California Street Tacos, and Chug Bug. The Kids Zone features Tulsa Rolling Video Games, Going Bonkers bounce houses, and Friendly Farms petting zoo. Separate sessions are offered for ages 4 to 5 and for ages 2 to 3.
