Each month brings a fresh nature theme that encourages discovery, problem solving, and time outside. Every session features three interactive STEM activities, a project to take home, opportunities to explore outdoors if the weather cooperates, and a chance to meet a naturalist. You can arrive when it works for you and move through the stations at your own pace. Admission is $5 for each participating child ages 2 and up, and adults are free. Preregistration is required for each participating child. Ideal for young explorers and families who enjoy learning together in nature.

The gathering is weather dependent and may be relocated, rescheduled, or canceled due to extreme heat, rain, storms, or other conditions, with updates shared in the event discussion and group. Tulsa Small Business Moms emphasizes friendship first and business second and welcomes stay-at-home moms, working moms, entrepreneurs, side hustlers, and anyone in between.

Every week features a different children’s book followed by a craft inspired by the story. This activity is designed for children ages 2 to 5. Registration is free and can be completed at the front desk of Nienhuis Park Community Center.

At Manion Park, Youth At Heart celebrates 50 years with a gathering of supporters, alumni, and community partners. The program centers on YAHlympics, a collaborative team competition modeled on the enrichment activities students engage in each day. Attendees recognize five decades of impact while helping advance opportunities for the next generation of Tulsa youth. Tickets are available.

Celebrate the vital creatures that keep ecosystems thriving at the Pollinator Party at Ray Harral Nature Center. Highlights include a Parks4Pollinators Bioblitz to record observations of local pollinators, hands-on Monarch Tagging with a focus on migration, and a Plant and Seed Swap for exchanging plants and seeds. Games, crafts, and other activities create a welcoming experience for all ages. Guests can explore the trails, connect with nature, and learn practical ways to support pollinators in the community. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Hosted by Ray Harral Nature Center in collaboration with local conservation partners.

Students from Legato School of Music take the stage for an open mic, sharing their skills with a mix of favorite selections and original songs. Held at YUMMY Subs & More, this showcase centers on student performers and the music they choose to present.

This year’s fish fry will include a bounce house provided by Coblentz Crazy House, LLC, a local business. They are also available if you need a bounce house.

Now in its fifth year, this St. Pius X barbecue cook-off features SPX pitmasters competing while attendees sample the entries. The event supports the school. Sign-ups are available for pitmasters and for those who wish to provide sides or desserts.

The Tulsa Buddy Walk is a quarter mile fundraising walk that encourages understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome. Families and friends create teams and walk together to support their Buddy with Down syndrome in a welcoming, family friendly setting.
