Living Arts of Tulsa, 307 E Reconciliation Way, Tulsa · verified Jul 31
    See details

Indulgence is often portrayed as too much, showing up as opulence, compulsion, luxury, intimacy, guilt, celebration, or resistance. It can also be a deserved treat, a welcome escape, or a form of self-care. This exhibition asks what indulgence means to you. Is it relief, reward, ritual, or a quiet step toward self-destruction? Where do you draw the line between nourishment and excess, and does giving in free the body or hold it in place? More than forty artists present works across their chosen mediums to probe these ideas. Moving from scenes of abundance and pleasure to moments of nurturing, longing, comfort, and festivity, the collection encourages reflection on indulgence in all its dimensions. The experience invites viewers to consider what it feels like to allow enjoyment without restraint.

Enriched Air Nitrox (up to 40%)

    2800 S 193rd Ave E, Broken Arrow · verified Aug 2
    See details

Prepare for upcoming ocean or deeper dives with a course focused on Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40 percent. By lowering the proportion of nitrogen in your breathing gas, nitrox can extend no decompression limits and reduce desaturation times. The program covers how to plan and conduct nitrox dives safely, with a strong emphasis on personally analyzing your tank before every nitrox dive. Topics include an introduction to nitrox, how it affects your body and the underwater environment, how it fits into your complete diving setup, and practical dive planning. No in-water training is required, which makes this a convenient specialty to complete ahead of a dive trip so you can start using nitrox right away. Many resorts advertise free nitrox, meaning there is no extra charge for the gas, but operators generally require proof of nitrox certification. Instruction follows the SSI specialty approach with a blend of self study, concise academic sessions, and hands-on tank analysis practice.
