What began as a high school party band playing surf rock covers for birthdays and family gatherings has grown over nearly 25 years into a Santa Cruz born blend of ska, surf rock, punk, reggae, and metal. Founding friends Raul Bianchi, Adam Peterson, and Geoff Weers, together with bassist Ryan DeMars who joined in 2000, continue to shape that mix. Their track Surfman Cometh pairs a spaghetti western vibe with classic Pipeline twang and marks the first release to come out of their Band Room, a 1,100 square foot warehouse that once served as a wine cellar on Coral Street, where Adam Patterson oversaw the final mix. The catalog includes the 2015 studio album of original songs Sand in the Sky and acoustic reworkings on Gone Soft in 2012 and its 2019 companion Gone Raw. The 2017 Moment EP reached number one on the Billboard Reggae chart and features collaborations with HIRIE, Tech N9ne, Eric Rachmany, and Micah Peuschel.

Thursday evenings at The Vault feature live acoustic music with guitarist Randy Wimer, offering relaxed rhythms and a wide-ranging set list.
