DZ Comics & Gaming, 625 N Moore Ave, Moore · verified Sep 4
    See details

Experience Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in the Genesys format at DZ Comics & Gaming, a fully supported tournament system refined for more than two years. Many Duelists already know it well, and even the Rivalry of Warlords decks at a recent World Championship Qualifier followed Genesys builds. Genesys keeps standard Duel rules while adjusting how decks are built. Link and Pendulum Monsters are not used, the classic field returns without Extra Monster Zones or Pendulum Zones, and the Forbidden and Limited List does not apply. Instead, construction centers on a points budget where certain powerful cards carry a cost and most others are free, lowering overall power so battles take center stage. Organizers choose the points cap to shape the event, with 100 as a typical setting, 200 allowing more heavy hitters, and 50 or even zero dialing things back. Designed to welcome many playstyles, it suits newcomers, players wanting a simpler experience, fans aiming to make a favorite strategy competitive, deck builders who enjoy a points puzzle, and anyone seeking a fresh way to Duel.
