TRC hosts a fundraising concert featuring a live set by My So Called Band, a popular Oklahoma 1990s cover group. The event supports The Recovery Center, a 501(c)(3) medical detox and recovery support nonprofit that helps people begin sobriety safely. As one of only two state funded medical detox providers serving uninsured Oklahomans, and among the few that accept Medicaid, the organization reaches individuals who may be facing food or housing insecurity, working to reunite with their children, or navigating recovery while connected to the justice system. With the rising cost of care and reimbursements that do not fully cover Medicaid and uninsured patients, this annual fundraiser helps close the gap so essential services remain available regardless of ability to pay.

SOKC hosts a social dance at Sailor & the Dock featuring swing dancing and Lindy Hop. The evening includes an intermediate lesson for dancers already comfortable with the usual beginner material, a beginner friendly Lindy Hop lesson, and a social dance set to DJed music. All ages are welcome. Admission is $5, with discounts for students and military with ID.

Founding friends Raul Bianchi, Adam Peterson, and Geoff Weers, together with bassist Ryan DeMars who joined in 2000, continue to shape that mix. Their track Surfman Cometh pairs a spaghetti western vibe with classic Pipeline twang and marks the first release to come out of their Band Room, a 1,100 square foot warehouse that once served as a wine cellar on Coral Street, where Adam Patterson oversaw the final mix. The catalog includes the 2015 studio album of original songs Sand in the Sky and acoustic reworkings on Gone Soft in 2012 and its 2019 companion Gone Raw. The 2017 Moment EP reached number one on the Billboard Reggae chart and features collaborations with HIRIE, Tech N9ne, Eric Rachmany, and Micah Peuschel.

The Listeso String Quartet presents fresh arrangements of favorites while the room glows with candlelight.
