Knit-Wits is a welcoming weekly gathering for anyone who knits, crochets, or cross-stitches, as well as those who want to learn. Participants relax while working on projects, exchange ideas, and offer tips and encouragement. It is a friendly space to share handiwork, find inspiration, and enjoy conversation with fellow crafters. All experience levels are invited, including newcomers. Explore local flora on a free, guided walk created in partnership with forestry educator Cathryn Pugh of Penn State Extension. Monthly walks are offered at parks across six counties and focus on the basics of plant identification, with an opportunity to earn credits. Each session covers up to a half mile on a gentle path and restrooms are nearby. At this location, Kings Gap Environmental Education Center hosts two sessions that meet at the Kings Gap Hollow Day Use Area. Space is limited, and advance registration is available. Additional sessions are offered at Pine Grove Furnace State Park and at other parks statewide.

Enjoy a weekly cornhole league on the patio, played ACO/ACL style with doubles teams formed by random draw. Registration takes place before play begins and costs $15 per person each week, with the winning team receiving a full payout.

Step into a 90s throwback at Midstate Distillery with a round of music bingo. Participants listen to recognizable tracks from the decade, check them off on their cards, and try to finish a winning line first. No special music expertise is required, and there will be plenty of 90s favorites.

Explore the language of dreams and symbols in a therapist-led reflective group that meets every other week. Sessions invite personal reflection on inner images and the deeper themes moving through life. No previous experience is necessary. Participants may bring a dream, a journal, an image, or simply come as they are. New participants are welcome at any session. Advance registration is required for each date. This is a reflective group experience, not group therapy.

Treats from Sarah’s Creamery feature homemade Penn State ice cream in cones or dishes, sundaes and ice cream sandwiches, plus soft pretzels, soda floats, gooey brownies, and more.

Line dancing takes over a large roller skating rink. Doors open and the music begins right away, a lesson is offered early, and open dancing continues throughout the event. Admission is $7 at the door. Guests who are 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent.

This beginner friendly event pairs movement with a classic game. It begins with a 30 minute mat Pilates session focused on gentle strengthening and stretching, followed by an introductory Mahjong lesson designed for newcomers in a relaxed, social setting. No prior experience is required for either activity, and all Mahjong supplies are provided. The price is $15 per person and covers both the class and the lesson. Participants may bring their own snacks and beverages to enjoy during the activities.

Enjoy a S.A.L chicken barbecue alongside an Auxiliary bake sale. Dinners are $12, and chicken halves are $9.

Pat Cassel leads a channeling session centered on Archangel Michael, Mother Mary, and Padre Pio, sharing messages from Archangel Michael and your angels. Mother Mary offers nurturing healing grounded in unconditional love, while Padre Pio supports spiritual, emotional, or physical healing. Participants receive clear guidance, messages, and compassionate healing energy, and there is time to ask your angels questions for direction. Pat works with these beings, along with your own angels and guides. Pricing is $60 for 30 minutes or $100 for one hour.

Enjoy an outdoor yoga class in a scenic winery setting at The Winery at The Long Shot Farm. The session welcomes all experience levels. Please bring a yoga mat or a large towel. The class fee is $10, cash only, and no advance registration is required. The class will be canceled if it rains or storms since there is no indoor option.

Polish your dog’s skills for AKC, UKC, CDSP, or C-WAGS obedience at the OTCH Show and Go, a monthly practice opportunity at the Obedience Training Class of Harrisburg training facility. Judges and stewards are on site to simulate trial conditions and help you get ready for upcoming trials. Practice is organized into Utility, Open, and Novice segments, with stays included, so you can focus on the level that fits your team. Sessions are brief and vary by level. The cost is $8.00 per run with a $3.00 convenience fee. If morning sessions fill, additional times may be added later in the day.

Get acquainted with the fundamentals of Bootcamp, HIIT, and other strength formats in a welcoming introductory class. Designed for every fitness level, it requires no prior experience and focuses on helpful modifications so you can build confidence before stepping into a regular group session. Tanya leads the class. Wear supportive sneakers and comfortable workout clothes, and bring a water bottle.

This action shoot centers on firearms from the World War I and World War II era. Participants may use rifles, shotguns, pistols, or revolvers that were used in those conflicts, and optics, lasers, or other electronic sighting devices are not allowed. Sign up takes place before the shooting begins. Range areas are identified as R for rifle, s for shotgun, m for the middle bay for pistol or revolver, and H for the house for pistol or revolver. Pistol and revolver shooters should bring safety glasses, hearing protection, a gun specific holster, at least three magazines for semi-automatics or speed loaders for revolvers, and a minimum of 50 rounds of handgun ammunition, with 100 rounds preferred. Rifles are fired at targets from 7 to 100 yards, and rifle shooters should have safety glasses, hearing protection, four to five magazines for semi-automatics, and at least 100 rounds. Shotguns are also fired at targets from 7 to 100 yards, and participants should bring safety glasses, hearing protection, and at least 50 rounds made up of buckshot and slugs.

This workshop invites anyone who has been affected by suicide to come together with other survivors for a simple, no-pressure art activity. It offers a supportive setting that encourages creative and emotional expression while building connections with others who have experienced loss. The session is led by artist and survivor Maureen Joyce. The program does not include art therapists or licensed counselors. The workshop is free, and registration is required.

A supportive women’s group with Emily focuses on understanding anxiety and untangling racing thoughts. Expect an encouraging setting where participants can connect, talk things through, and take away practical guidance. Wear whatever is comfortable, even pajamas, and no supplies are required. Space is limited, so reserving a spot is recommended. Pricing options include coverage under regular pricing, a free first visit, a $15 single session, 5- or 10-pack options, and Monthly Unlimited members are welcome.
