MTG Marvel Super Heroes Two-Headed Giant Prerelease

Pair up for a crossover between Magic: The Gathering and Marvel Super Heroes in a Two-Headed Giant sealed prerelease. Partners open packs, build decks together, and take on other teams in cooperative play inspired by iconic comic pairings. The format is Sealed Two-Headed Giant. Players earn 50 XP for each win. Beginning Watercolor: Wildflowers

Intro to Pottery: Monstera Leaf Tray

At Wildflower Art Studio, this beginner friendly pottery workshop offers a calm introduction to working with clay. Over the course of two hours, participants learn slab hand-building, practice carving to create a monstera leaf tray, and go through the glazing process. All tools and materials are provided, along with light snacks and coffee. After firing, finished pieces will be ready for pickup in about two to three weeks, and a shipping option is available for $16. An optional take-home supply kit is offered for $55, which includes air-dry clay, a reusable mat, and pottery tools for three to four additional projects at home. Pieces made with the kit are not food safe.

All Star Karaoke: Benefitting GDAC & KUZU - Live at Dan's Silverleaf

Dan's Silverleaf hosts a community karaoke night that raises funds for the Greater Denton Arts Council and KUZU. Sleuth Society- June Summer Camp

Young detectives get a week of mystery solving at Explorium Denton Children’s Museum. Designed for ages 5 to 11, this summer camp immerses participants in the art of sleuthing with scavenger hunts, code breaking, and puzzle challenges. Campers practice fingerprint analysis, secret-writing techniques, and keen observation, then put those skills to work to uncover hidden clues and solve camp-wide mysteries. Pack a water bottle and a snack. Refund and cancellation information: email info@exploriumdenton.org at least two weeks before the session to receive a refund minus a $30 nonrefundable deposit. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Requests made within two weeks of the session start forfeit the full registration cost. Now in its fourth year, this Argyle Band fundraiser features a 5K, 10K, and a 1K family fun run that blends fitness with music and community spirit. Back roads Trip

A relaxed back roads drive begins at the 7-Eleven in Krum, Texas around sundown, combining stretches of dirt and asphalt. The route travels west and then north into the grasslands north of Decatur along a newly planned path expected to take about an hour and a half to two hours. A mid-route stop is planned for restroom access, photos, and time by the lake, and the drive concludes at Villa Grande on 287. Participants are encouraged to carry GMRS radios, likely tuned to channel 15. It offers a calm nighttime cruise through wide open countryside.

Era Explorers- July Summer Camp

Era Explorers Summer Camp invites children ages 5 to 11 to spend a week traveling across eras through hands-on play and creative challenges. Campers journey from ancient Egypt to the world of dinosaurs and then leap ahead to the future, building simple gadgets, uncovering time travel clues, and working together on missions that safeguard history. Activities focus on curiosity, teamwork, and problem solving in a lively, imaginative setting at Explorium Denton Children’s Museum. Please pack a water bottle and a snack for your camper. Refund and cancellation policy: a $30 portion of the registration fee is nonrefundable. Requests made more than two weeks before the session start are refunded minus that deposit and returned in the original form of payment. 2026 FALL Art Classes - 6th - 12th Grade

Designed for students in grades 6 through 12, these art classes offer an inspiring semester focused on creativity and skill building. The curriculum explores the elements and principles of design through hands-on projects in clay sculpture, pencil drawing, mixed media, and painting. Lessons reinforce perspective, value, and design concepts while practicing a variety of techniques drawn from across art history. The semester is organized into two eight-week sessions, and each session is structured to welcome new students. Tuition is $250 per session or $475 for the full semester, and all materials and supplies are included.
