At the Stafford location, running takes place outdoors, paired with stations that mirror competition demands such as sled push and pull, SkiErg, rowing, wall balls, lunges, burpees, and carries. Workouts are continuous with minimal rest and arranged in team or pod formats to sharpen pacing, resilience, and sustained effort under fatigue. Class sizes are intentionally limited to prioritize coaching quality and safety, so booking ahead is required. HYROX equipment features regularly in daily F45 classes at this location for consistent practice beyond these sessions. Pricing is $15 for F45 members and $30 for non-members.

Families Make a Chicken Workshop
Corgi Clay Art Center hosts a single-session, family-friendly pottery workshop where participants learn to sculpt a chicken from clay and add playful details like big eyes, an apron, or polka dots. Ages 6 and up are welcome. Children who are 6 must attend with a parent. Families can take the class together, and anyone who plans to make their own piece should register individually. Parents who are only assisting their child do not need to register. Tuition includes clay, access to shared tools, and multiple firings. Please bring a hand towel and wear clothing that can get clay or paint on it. Instruction is led by Genevieve Ivan, and space is limited to 12 participants.

An immersive adventure riding clinic presented by Morton’s Motorcycles offers professional coaching for riders who want to handle large adventure bikes off road with greater skill and confidence. Training is led by BMW Brand Ambassador Shawn Thomas, an internationally certified off-road instructor with 22 years of coaching experience, and BMW Brand Expert Louise Coleen Powers, a world-traveling adventure rider with more than a decade of coaching who brings practical insight for managing tall, heavy machines like the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure. Together they have trained more than 10,000 riders around the world. The program begins with four key fundamentals, balance, braking, clutch control, and throttle control. These elements are refined through instruction, targeted drills, and coaching, then combined to build capability and confidence. It is designed for riders who already know how to operate a motorcycle. Prior off-road experience is not required. All adventure motorcycles from any manufacturer are welcome. A dual-sport tire with at least half its tread is recommended, while knobby tires are optional. Riders must wear a DOT-approved helmet, gloves, long pants, a shirt, and closed-toe shoes. Full protective gear is encouraged, including a full-face helmet, armored jacket and pants, and off-road or dual-sport gloves and boots. Since practice can involve low-speed drops, consider protective additions such as engine guards, a skid plate, valve cover guards for BMW boxer-twin models, hand guards, radiator protection, and a headlight guard, along with larger off-road footpegs and handlebar risers. Many of these items are available through Morton’s. Bring plenty of water and some snacks for quick breaks, and consider a hydration backpack to make it easy to drink while riding. Many participants see noticeable progress by the end thanks to a building-block approach that teaches, practices, and layers essential skills.

Family Archaeology Day at George Washington’s Ferry Farm offers families a chance to explore how the past is studied through hands-on learning tailored for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and their caregivers. Together, participants discover what archaeologists do and learn about the people who once lived at Ferry Farm. Children will examine genuine artifacts recovered at the site, then try a mock excavation where they practice careful digging methods and close observation. Afterward, families can tour the Washington House in a kid-friendly format that connects finds to everyday life. The experience concludes with a visit to the active excavation area, where guests may speak with professional archaeologists about ongoing work. Admission is $10 per child participant and $5 per adult attendee. Every child must be accompanied by an adult caregiver, and advance registration is required for all attendees because space is limited.

Presented by House of Cars Virginia, The Greater Virginia Diecast & TCG Expo brings a large regional gathering of collectors, vendors, enthusiasts, and car lovers to the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fairgrounds. Browse diecast cars, trading cards, and other collectibles, take part in tournaments, check out the car show, enjoy food from local vendors, and enter raffles and giveaways. Admission is $5, with free entry for military, first responders, and kids. Vendor registration is available, with limited spaces confirmed in the order they are approved and paid. Partners include FXBG.TV and Royal Rally Legends in collaboration with the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fairgrounds.

The 6th Annual Customer Appreciation Day Fall Festival is a free community celebration hosted by the Patricia Grant Agency. Enjoy food, games, trick or treat candy, a Halloween costume contest for adults, teens, and kids, and plenty of entertainment for all ages. The festival is also seeking vendors and crafters. Vendor registration is 25 dollars, with an early bird rate of 20 dollars. Pop up tents and tables are not provided, and space is limited.
